Very highly detailed and well molded resin waterline model kit. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes illustrated instructions. The Hoche was an early battleship of the French Navy. She used the 340mm/28 Modele 1881 gun as her main armament, like the Marceau class which followed. The Hoche was completed with a heavy but unarmoured superstructure that resulted in her being top heavy. This was later lightened.In 1892, off Marseilles, Hoche collided with the steamer Marechal Canrobert which sank with the loss of 107 lives.She was sunk as practice target by the Jaureguiberry and the Pothuau on 2 December 1913.

In 1961, the US Army evaluated four 'Ginas' for possible use in the close support/forward air control role. Despite much anticipatory rejoicing by Army aviators, this interesting project was abandoned when most fixed wing types were transferred to the USAF.

Features over 190 laser cut hardwood (basswood, birch and plywood) parts, over 200 Britannia metal, copper, aluminum, steel, brass and rubber parts and over 50 Britannia metal castings for the Gnome-Rhone Type 9N rotary engine complete with all cylinders, distributor, spark plugs and crankcase. Details other than the engine (which is a kit to itself) include turnbuckles, guy wires, compression bar, pulleys, wire support brackets, struts, flight instruments, tires and much more. Includes three sheets of full size plans and very detailed instructions. Completed wingspan is 20 inches. Never started.
