Hugo Junkers giant G-38 was the wonder of Europe for airliner service in 1930. The airplane was the largest in the world at the time. First class was seated in the enormous wing leading edge. The G38 was the subject of some art-deco Lufthansa posters showing no aircraft but a huge shadow of a G38 looming over Europe. These posters bring $5000+ today.

1963 issue and still the only injection molded Apache kit. From ex-Comet molds. Features all recessed panel lines, clear windows, rotating propellers and color decals. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Aurora had started a line of inexpensive 29 cent kits in about 1957. The line was a success, and it was expanded. The line grew again when Aurora purchased the Comet molds, as most of Comet's line was very small scale kits, many of them civil aircraft like this one. It appears that Aurora was encouraged by the sale of the ex-Comet civil aircraft, as it expanded the line with it's own molds in the early 1960s.

Still factory sealed but the seal has multiple splits. Nicely molded with all recessed panel lines. Includes decals for aircraft 201 through 205. This is the fantastic all-Canadian replacement for the CF-100 that was canceled immediately before the first production airframes left the assembly line. The prototypes had flown a great number of hours and the airplane was a great success. The cancellation of the project is in some ways still a mystery today in some aviation circles.

From quality Hubley molds. Large 1/18 scale, highly-detailed multi-media kit with 150 parts. Features primarily metal parts with injection molded plastic, rubber and other materials for the details. Builds up a rolling chassis just like the real automobile. Chassis includes complete engine and transmission, suspension, exhaust system, drive shaft, axles, tie rod and metal worm gear working steering and more. The engine alone is 34 parts. The six piece hood can be opened and closed. Includes full interior detail, rubber tires, chrome wire wheels, clear windshields and large tree of chrome plated details. Very realistic kit since most items that were metal on the real car are metal on this kit. Never started. All the parts that the factory put in sealed bags are still factory sealed. Only the cast metal parts were never sealed, and they have been inventoried complete. Includes instructions and decals. Please NOTE that most of the cast metal parts have been professionally cleaned of flash. This is very nice since cleaning up the castings is the most time-consuming part of these models.

Very rare. 1960 first and only issue. Can be motorized with the additional Monogram motorizing kit - or you can motorizing it with a small motor as full instructions are included. Large 1/8 scale kit that can be displayed in any of 6 versions. The key parts are snap-on, so you can change the appearance of the engine as you wish. The six versions are Stock (Four Barrel Carburetor, Chevrolet stock intake manifold, valve covers, exhaust manifold and distributor, Street (with Edelbrock Intake, Hedman Exhaust Headers, three Stromberg 97 Carburetors and three chrome air cleaners), Road and Track (Weiand Intake Manifold, six Stromberg 97 Carburetors, Scintilla Vertex Magneto and hetman headers), Dragstrip (Cragar Intake Manifold, GMC 4-71 Supercharger, Cragar Carburetor Adapter Plate, four barrel carburetors, Cragar Supercharger Drive Unit, Tuned Exhaust, Scintilla Magneto, finned chromed rocker covers, Cragar drive pulley and belt), Racing (Hilborn Fuel injection manifold, Intake Stacks, Scintilla Magneto, finned rocker covers and tuned exhaust), All-Out Competition (Potvin Intake Manifold, Potvin Intake Pipes, GMC 4-71 Supercharger, Potvin Pipe Adapter, Scintilla Magneto and tuned exhausts). The kit has many working features - A crank at the back of the transmission turns the crankshaft and moves the two pistons and connecting rods up and down within clear piston sleeves. The pistons are visible through a clear engine block section. Crank pulley also turns the fly wheel, pressure plate and the front drive belt, which moves the water pump and the generator. The belt also turns the GMC 4-71 Supercharger, which has moving internal vanes visible through a clear plastic cover. The transmission shifter can be moved through the 'H' pattern. The model is molded in multiple colors so that painting is not required - molded in Chevrolet Orange (red), black, silver, chrome and clear. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including instructions in 'near mint' condition and also the booklet 'Customizing The Chevrolet V-8 Automobile Engine' in 'near mint' condition.
