Rare. 1961 hardbox issue in 'excellent' condition. This is the 'textured' litho issue so that the artwork looks like a real painting. Note that the box art is 'framable' in that it can be cut out and used for a picture. Color and gloss are like new, and there are no price tags, tape or marks from either. All four corners are solid and original. The only flaws are light edge and shelf wear as shown. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Also includes Master Modeler's Collector stamp for this model.

From the 1970s from original high quality Doyusha molds. This is the largest injection molded 747 ever made and by far the most detailed. Huge 1/100 scale model is a 28 inch long kit with over 325 parts. Features APU exhaust detail, clear landing lights, passenger and cockpit windows, parts to build the aircraft in landing, take off or in-flight configuration, display stand, detailed cockpit and crew lounge with tables, chairs and bed, incredibly detailed main and nose landing gear, engines with excellent exhaust and intake detail, detailed gear wells, internal spiral staircase, numerous instrument probes, windshield wipers and more. The model has never been started. Most parts are still in the internally sealed factory bags; the parts not sealed have been inventoried complete. Includes decals and instructions in excellent condition. This collector stored his decals and instructions in a climate controlled environment. Please note that the instructions have three holes for a binder and the decal sheet was neatly cut so the decals could fit in a protective envelope. Only the blank backing paper is cut. None of the designs (transfers) are damaged.

Rare plastic and pre-carved wood kit in fantastic overall condition. Before there were injection molded plastic kits, model builders worked in wood or metal. Advanced companies, like Monogram, saw the advantage of plastic and began marketing kits with plastic details and fully-carved fuselage, wings, etc. This beautiful kit is one the highest quality composite static kits from the early to mid 1950s. Inside, the kit is as it left the factory with the small plastic parts still in the factory sealed 'crinkle' bag, unpunched factory painted balsa parts, finished balsa fuselage and wings, white acetate stand, clear windshield, sandpaper, instructions and decals. Never started and all non-factory bagged parts have been inventoried compete.

First issue 'Four Star Kit' with 1961 copyright on the hardbox. This box was factory sealed until very recently when the seal simply disintegrated. As a result, the box is in factory-new 'near mint' condition with perfect color and gloss, four solid corners, no repairs and no tape or tags. Very light handling wear is the only flaw. Has many action features: Folding wings, retractable landing gear, bomb bay opens and bomb drops (after swinging clear of the prop!), rear guns can be stowed or elevated, canopies open and close and the wheels and prop rotate. The inside is as nice as the outside. Parts, instructions, decals and small Monogram catalog are mint. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Still factory sealed. From 1973. This is a reissue of the famous 1950s 'S' Long Beach tug. Includes decals for all three tugs. Large scale (1/108) kit features very good detail for that time and even crew members. The Long Beach, of which Taurus is listed as one of her class, was built in Decatur, Alabama in 1943 and was one of a fleet of tugs operated by the Wilmington Transportation Company. She had a registered length of 81.1 feet and a beam of 24 feet. Gross tonnage was 146 inches and she drew 8 feet of water. Powered by a 700 hp diesel, the range was just over 3,500 miles.

1974 block letter 'AURORA' logo issue. This is still the only 1/72 scale injection molded 737 kit to ever be made. Includes clear cockpit windows, full landing gear, display stand and a large PSA decal sheet. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. The decals are in rare 'excellent++' condition; the only flaws are foxing to the backing paper. The actual transfers look brand new. Rare. Large-scale 'short' turbojet DC-8 kit with large, extensive KLM decal sheet that includes all stripes. The kit is molded in white, black, silver and clear. It has never been started and has been inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions. KVZ was the logo used by this East German kit manufacturer from 1969 into the 1970s. During this time, some fantastic Cold War kits were produced of Russian Airliners and Military Helicopters and Aircraft.

If you look closely, this is the same artwork as the United 727 from 1962, but with the United markings carefully painted out and the TWA added.
