Rare, excellent and detailed kit. In 1991 Bluejacket launched the 'Evolution of the Tank' series of hardwood and pewter 1/32 scale model kits of historically prominent tanks. The wood parts are completely pre-fabricated - no woodworking experience is necessary. Features completely pre-cut, shaped and drilled basswood parts, a very large number of Britannia Pewter and brass fittings and excellent step-by-step instructions. The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed (the numerous fittings) are still in the sealed bags except one: the tread bag came opened. I inventoried them complete and placed them in a zip-lock. The parts that were not factory sealed (wood) have been inventoried complete including instructions.

Very, very rare. From 1993. Frontline Miniatures in the UK produced a line of very large scale military vehicles - they are seldom seen or traded since they are the only kits available in 1/15 scale. Features a large number of beautiful parts cast in high-definition resin and many cast metal detail. There are full step-by step instructions. Model has complete interior, full and separate frame build with all suspension parts, accessories, .50 caliber machine gun (which is a kit to itself), door straps and more. Airwing includes helicopter, F9F Cougars, F8U Crusaders, A-1 Skyraiders, A-4 Skyhawks and F11F Tigers. Has deck crane and 6 deck tractors. Side elevators go up and down; mid-deck bow elevator can be shown down or up. Large (Revell) decal sheet includes full ship numbers, name, extensive deck markings and aircraft markings as well. Includes Starfighter Decals #540-2 USS Yorktown CVS-10 with two big sheets and extensive markings for the carrier and airwing; in mint and never used condition. The actual model is very rare. This is the 1975 issue that was only made for the store at Patriot's Point where the Yorktown is a museum ship. Reportedly several hundred of these kits were made and they remain the only kits of the angled deck (final configuration) Yorktown. This the second Yorktown of the Essex class which replaced the first one which was lost at the Battle of Midway. Launched in January of 1943, the Yorktown saw and incredible service ranging from WWII, then to Korea and finally in the Gulf of Tonkin during the Vietnam War. Model is 20" inches long when built, has movable elevators and cranes, full decals and flags and has an airwing of S-2 Trackers, F-8 Crusaders, A-4 Skyhawks and HH-3 Sea King Helicopters. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including correct Yorktown angled deck decals and instructions.

1970 issue from original Pyro molds. Very large and well detailed kit for that time. The race between the Lee and Natchez is considered a classic tale of The River. Although the Lee won, the circumstances were suspect and many people still considered the Natchez the fastest paddle-wheel packet ever. (For example, the Lee carried no payload and the Natchez was carrying passengers and a normal payload.) All details of the real ship, including the wooden railings and carvings are duplicated in plastic. Includes full rigging instructions and thread. Molded in tan and ivory plastic. The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed bags. The very few parts that were never factory sealed have been inventoried complete including decals/flags and instructions. NOTE: parts are from the Life-Like issue, but the instructions and decals are from a newer Lindberg issue. This is ideal as a builder because you get the earlier mold quality, the Lindberg instructions are much better and the decals are fresh and also better than what Life-Like provided.

Rare ship model dated 1946. Contains the Ideal 'Premolded Hull' which is a completely formed and finished hollow hull made from a wood composite. It is 'paint or primer ready.' The hull is 18 inches long in like-new condition with no warping and no cracks. Also includes a small wax bag of fittings, three sheets of quality printwood, wood stock and dowels as required, metal stock and full size plans/instructions. The plans are excellent and very detailed. They even include full text step-by-step building instructions. The kit has never been started. Inventoried complete with all parts and plans.

First issue hardbox from 1963. Features specially modified Lancaster fuselage with Dam Buster bomb and release mechanism. Landing gear retracts, props and wheels turns and control surfaces move. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The Dam Busters squadron was famous for its daring raids on three German dams on May 16, 1943. Carrying the special Barnes Wallis-designed bombs, the Lancasters flew very low over the water in the face of heavy flak to drop the rotating bombs perfectly. Many did not return. The bombs did perform as promised, first skipping over the water, hitting the dam, then rolling down 30 feet before exploding with tremendous force. In an airburst, these bombs would not have damaged the dams, but since water is incompressible, the dams were breached.

Still factory sealed and comes with wall display brackets. Dated 1970s and made "...Under License From Pyro Plastics." Very large, life-sized 4 foot 2 inch long rifle that was well detailed for that time. Exact reproduction of a Tschinke type developed between 1585 and 1620. It weighed only 6 lb and 12 ounces and had a .32 caliber bore with chiseled and gilt lock. The walnut stock was inlaid with engraved Stag-Horn and Mother-Of-Pearl. The cheek piece has representations of St. George and the Dragon.

Includes 12 completely pre-carved hardwood beer barrels, die-cut hardwood, plywood and balsa parts, acetate wheels, axles and hubs and metal stock as required. Very nice large scale model. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. Frontier Novelty Manufacturing Co. of Los Angeles California was founded by Eli LaCaille. Mr. LaCaille specialized in kits from the 'Pioneering Days' of the USA. He probably began production in the 1940s. By 1951 he was selling 85,000 kits a year. It was also called 'Frontier Manufacturing Company' and that address was given simply as 'Hollywood, California.' These were deluxe, high-quality multi-media models that included the Ox Cart, Buck Board, Covered Wagon, Stage Coach, Ranch Wagon, Chuck Wagon, Surrey With The Fringe On Top, Ore Wagon, Beer Wagon, big-scale 10 Mule Team Borax vehicles, Top Buggy and more.
