Second issue, and one of two box art variations with this part number. Dated 1967. This model is part of a very popular and successful line of 1/48 World War II kits that Monogram issued through the 1960s. Features folding wings, optional position landing gear, underwing tanks, rotating prop and wheels and pilot + one ground crew. Molded in a beautiful dark blue and clear. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

NOTE: builder only, please read carefully. Dated 1958. Very rare version of the large F-102 with all the ground equipment and crew shown on the front cover. Unique kit features landing gear and flaps the retract and extend when canopy is opened and closed, removable rear fuselage section and detailed jet engine, movable control surfaces, opening weapons bay with Falcon missiles and more. The F-102 is molded in silver and clear while the ground equipment is molded in bright yellow. The F-102 has never been started and is inventoried 100% complete with all parts, 'excellent++' decals and instructions. NOTE: the ground equipment has minor assembly. Two parts have been glued to the big missile cart; quality of assembly is 'very good.' The tug tractor chassis had glue put on it but was never attached to the tractor body. There has been no other assembly and no painting. NOTE: missing the small decal sheet for the ground equipment and the ground equipment instructions are photocopies. As you can see, the box has like new color and gloss, four solid corners and displays better than the 'very good+' rating, but is graded as such because there are strips of 3/4 inch wide clear tape on the sides. This can be carefully removed by soaking in lighter fluid, but I only recommend this if you are experienced. Practice on lessor value kit boxes first! Please note that this kit must be shipped insured.

Second hardbox issue from Pyro, likely from the early to mid 1960s. Nice full hull kit for that time. Designed from the original blueprints furnished by the American President Lines. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. The kit can represent the Ocean Liners SS President Wilson or SS President Cleveland. These fine ships sailed to exotic Pacific ports and did at least one Round-The-World Cruise each year. At the time the kit was made, they were the only two ocean liners flying the American flag.
