Nicely molded kit with all recessed panel lines. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes instructions. NOTE: missing decals. The fantastic all-Canadian replacement for the CF-100 that was canceled immediately before the first production airframes left the assembly line. The prototypes had flown a great number of hours and the airplane was a great success. The cancellation of the project is in some ways still a mystery today in some aviation circles.

NOTE: builder kit only, please read carefully. This is the 1972 release from the same molds as the original 1959 issue. One of the few injection molded kits of the historical CV-6 - The US Navy's Most Decorated Ship. Full hull kit with pre-war 'EN' flight deck markings, display stand and aircraft. This kit has never been started. NOTE: missing several island parts but includes replacements in a stunning 3-D printed island for this kit that includes all of those parts. The island is a vast improvement over the original Aurora one. With the island, the kit can be completely built and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: the decals have a 3/4" tear and there is no flag sheet.

Features moving control surfaces, cockpit, rotating prop and wheels and clear display stand. In 1931, Post and Gatty flew the Vega 'Winnie Mae' around the world in 8 days, 15 hours and 8 minutes for a new world record. In 1933 Post tested a gyroscope automatic pilot and radio direction finder in another record flight lasting 7 days, 18 hours and 45 minutes. This aircraft is now in the Smithsonian Museum.

Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. Features detailed chassis with exhaust, suspension and gas tank, complete motor and interior, removable hood, spoked wheels. Molded in gray and clear with chrome plated parts and real rubber tires. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including instructions.
