This is the Pocher kit with the Testors/Pocher label. In 1986 Pininfarina created this very special Spider on the basis of the Ferrari Testarossa. By strengthening the chassis, cutting the roof and modifying the trunk the car was given a unique appearance of a very luxury Spider. Very few of this special Testarossa were made. Pocher chose to create this model for it's 25th Anniversary. Although Pocher is no longer in business, they are acknowledged as the finest car model makers ever. This kit features all metal body and body panels that are perfectly factory primed and pre-painted white like the box art. Every detail of the suspension, interior, engine and truck are recreated in this magnificent model. The kit is in 1/8 scale and measures 56 cm (over 22 inches long) when built. The steering works, the doors, hood and trunk open and close, headlights open and retract and much, much more. The body and all body panels are metal - the balance of the kit is metal and injection molded plastic and a number of other materials such as flexible wires for the ignition, clear parts, real rubber tires, etc. The kit has never been started and is complete. Inside, it is like new. The parts that were factory bag sealed are still sealed. The parts that were never factory sealed have been inventoried complete. The painted parts are in perfect condition and well protected with all factory packaging. UNLESS you specify otherwise, this kit will be shipped in the original Testors heavy cardboard shipping box. If you wish to have it shipped inside another box, let me know and there will be additional cost for shipping.

Very rare issue dated 1974 as a tie-in with the popular movie of the same name. I can't help but to repeat some of the quality verbage on the box- "It's The King Of The Big City Street Prowlers...Loaded With Wild Custom Parts to Give Superfly Class and Superfly Sass!!" "Superfly is Superbad...So Far Out That It's 'IN'...Packed With Bold Custom Features!" And that is no idle boast - this is a very nicely detailed kit with an overwhelming number of custom touches. It is molded in white, clear, red-tinted clear, chrome and with rubber tires. The kit has never been started. The color parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed bags. The clear and chrome parts were never factory sealed have been inventoried complete including instructions. NOTE: there is one minor tire burn on the clear.
