1961 hardbox first issue. Arguably one of the most beautiful airliners built. She saw service with Air France, SAS, Swissair, United and several others. NOTE: this kit has neat assembly. The fuselage, wing 1/2 and inner engine pods (not the outer nacelles) have been neatly assembled. Quality of assembly is 'excellent+.' There is no other assembly. NOTE: missing two small parts, landing gear brace and a small nose gear door. Both can be easily made. Missing display stand. Otherwise inventoried with all other parts present and with an 'excellent' condition SAS decal sheet and instructions.

Very rare kit from 1956; molds were altered to make the class seaplane tender, which made any reissue impossible. Excellent stain-free box with brilliant color and gloss. There are no tape or price tags or similar marks. This Norton Sound was originally a seaplane tender and was converted to an ocean-going laboratory for development and testing of guided missiles and rockets. This ship was key in the Navy's move into the guided missile age. Model features working cranes, operating launching platform for the Viking missile, Terrier with launcher, Jeeps and Lark missile. Inside, the kit as if left the factory. I has never been started. All small parts are still factory bag sealed. Decals and flag sheet, as well as the instructions, are like new with typical yellowing as the only flaw.

SALE!! First issue from 1956 with Northern Lights logo. This logo only appeared for one year. In 1957 it was replaced with the famous oval 'Famous Fighters' Sunburst logo. The artwork is by Jim Cox. This kit was one of a very famous line of 1/48 scale WWI aircraft kits introduced by Aurora at this time. Due to the popularity, subjects were still being released into the 1960s. Very rare and in great condition. 1959 first and only issue of this classic and rare kit. The box is graded 'excellent.' Color and gloss are like new. All four corners are solid with no repairs and there are no price tag, tag marks, fading or litho tears. Flaws include general, even light wear at the corners and edges and a 'squiggle' scratch/line just above the B-52 if you look hard. The only tape marks are from the factory sealing tape. The box tray is 'excellent++.' The model contains 18 aircraft (102 parts total), all to a constant 1/240 scale. All aircraft have an in-flight configuration that is accurate down to the wing angle on the B-52. The display is made complete with all aircraft riding on 'Flight Wires' from the special blue stand. Even the factory tube of Monogram glue ('Monoglue') is included and has never been opened! The large decal sheet is in wonderful 'near mint+' condition, and the instructions and Air Power book are both 'near mint++' The kit has never been started. Inventoried complete with all parts, base, all flight wires, decals, instructions and 24 page 'Air Power' booklet. This kit must be shipped with postal insurance.
