Very rare promotional in superb condition and includes the original box. The box is stamped "1970 GTX." The model was obtained in 1970 by a discriminating adult collector in Lexington KY. The promo has never even been displayed - it has been in the box wrapped with factory tissue since it left the factory. The unique butterscotch-colored paint has factory-new color and gloss, but there are some tiny factory flaws or scuffs on the right lower side. The chrome is 'near mint.' There is no body warp and the clear is in 'near mint' condition. I would grade this one 9.3 out of 10 with 10 flawless. The deduction is for the tiny paint flaws. The original box is complete and 'good+' with general age spotting. Even the original packing paper is present.

First issue dated 1957. As with most early Revell sailing ship kits, it is very nicely molded and well detailed. Includes rigging instructions, rigging material and vacuform billowing sails. Molded in three colors - ivory, light wood tan and dark brown wood. The kit has never been started. NOTE: missing #70, 71 boomkins (tripod made from straight cylinders) and #20 galley stack. All three parts can be made from stock plastic or sprue. Inventoried with all other parts, decals, flag sheet, rigging material and instructions. The 295' bark rigged sailing ship was built in 1936 in Bremerhaven, Germany, for the German Navy. It was originally named Horst Vessel. The vessel was acquired in 1946 as a World War II war reparation. The ship was named the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Eagle, and has been used ever since as a training ship for future U.S. Coast Guard Officers. Eagle is based in New London, Connecticut.

Still in the factory seal and in investment grade condition. Hardbox is dated 1960. Very likely the 3rd issue of this kit because the box top oval logo does not have the 'Famous Fighters' in the border, and the price extension is $1, making this from around the mid 1960s. This was a nice kit for the time, featuring good cockpit detail, pilot and student figures, rotating prop and US Navy decals. Molded in yellow and clear.

Very rare. This kit is still factory sealed on the inside as a special display for experiment. On bigger kits (B-52, Phantom Huey and Mustang, etc), Monogram would seal the parts in clear with the lower box, then leave the box top unsealed so that potential buyers could see the kit 'insides' before purchasing. I did not know they did it with smaller kits and this is the first one I have seen. It is not a reseal as the cello is of the old heavy type and brittle. Please note the Uncle Bill's Hobby Shop (Cleveland, Ohio) price tag on the box top and the purchase date of 9-6-1966. First issue hardbox copyright dated 1964. Very highly detailed and well molded kit. Builds any of four versions including 2-Seat Night Fighter, day fighter, 'Droop Snoot' with bomber nose and F5 photo recon version.

Includes all three factory sealed kits. The seals on the Skyraider and Helldiver kits are intact. The seal is torn on the SBD kit. This kits are from Airfix molds and from the MPC 'Bonus' features series. Dates from the late 1960s/early 1970s and includes custom and stock decals as well as the clear modular display stand. Note that this issue still has 'Craft Master' under the MPC logo. Before this, MPC was marketing Airfix kits under the Craftmaster name in the USA. This continued for several issues and was finally discontinued although MPC continued to distribute Airfix and their own models.
