Wild 'Snap-Tite' action kit from 1978. Motorized action spins the prop, flaps the wings and the machine guns 'fire' by moving forwards and backwards. Furthermore, all of this action makes the airplane bounce around on a sprung wire stand. Comical 'Air Farce' and 'Recycled Pollution' stickers are included. Thanks to sound engineering from Monogram, this kit works flawlessly when built correctly. Molded in the correct silver and black plastic and include the electric motor and all hardware. The Fw-189 made it's first flight in the late 1930s and was ordered into production soon afterwards. It was built until 1944 and served well on the Eastern Front, where it was known for it's performance, maneuverability, ability to absorb damage and adaptability to many rolls. Rare and still factory sealed. This AHM release is from the original Crown molds that would make it 1/50 scale; Burn guide lists the mold origins as unknown and lists it as 1/48. Crown made a very good line of motorized tanks and AHM reissued many of them. Associated Hobby Manufactures was an American company that did not cut it's own molds but sourced model kits from around the world through the 1960s and probably into the 1970s as well.
