Hard-to-find Renwal first issue of this very desirable kit- not the common Revell reissue. The box top says 'Fully Operating Model Does Everything But Fire' and it is true. The model consists of over 300 parts and has many action features typical of Renwal models. The wheels roll, tractors can be hooked to the cannon which can be stowed in the 'travel' position. The gun can move into the 'fire' position off the tractors and can be trained realistically. It is molded in olive drab plastic and the inner factory cardboard divider is present. The kit has never been started. All bags but one are still factory sealed. The "A" transport generic parts bag was split, so I opened it and did an inventory - it is complete. The few big parts that were never factory sealed have been inventoried complete. All inspection slips are present also as well as a smaller-format Renwal kit catalog. Decals are in remarkable 'excellent' condition with the typical yellowing and some light creases as the only flaws. The instructions are also 'excellent' with one closed fold split as the only real flaw. This early issue has the main gun barrel factory built and painted; the paint is in 'excellent' condition with only a few scuffs. The box displays much better than the 'good-' grade. But I graded it as such because there are three closed-split corners (two with clear tape on them), other smaller closed splits at two corners, edge wear and general light wear. The lower box tray has a long closed split along one edge.

Original 1966 hardbox issue in wonderful condition. The color and gloss are like new and it has four tight corner and no repairs. There are no tape or tags (or marks), no fading and missing or torn litho. The box sides are as good as the top - the colors are bright and there is no tape or tape marks. The box does have light wear and age as shown. Inside, the kit has never been started. It is molded in the correct black and clear and includes the ocean base. Most parts are still on the trees. The kit has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts and excellent instructions. Please note that Aurora did not issue this kit with decals.

Rare and very nicely molded kit. Can be built any one of three ways - stock, custom or competition. Includes a very large number of optional custom parts so you can make a totally unique automobile. Features detailed complete engine, engine compartment, opening hood, full interior, rotating wheels, exhaust and underside detail. Molded in white, clear, red tinted clear, and chrome. With real rubber tires. The kit has never been started. The stock kit appears to be complete with all parts. The custom parts may all be present, but at least one chrome custom parts is missing. This model collector put all his instructions and decals in a 'safe place' which no one can find, so NOTE- missing decals and instructions. I cannot be 100% certain that the entire kit is complete without the instructions, so it is sold 'as is.' NOTE: this are tire burns on one inner rim and the bottom of the custom CB radio (the area that is not seen).

From the 1950s. Fantastic kit with a 'near mint' investment quality box with factory-new colors and gloss, four solid corners with no repairs, zero tape or tape marks, no fading and no litho damage. Flaws include very light corner wear, an old price tag on one short side and a pencil-point sized closed hole on one long side. Classic box art showing the Nike Ajax blowing up what appears to be a B-17 over an American city. Excellent model (for that time) with operating launcher that is made to hook to other Ajax models to create an entire battery. Molded in olive drab and white, with the white parts still factory sealed. Never started, and the olive drab parts have been inventoried 100% complete. Includes instructions and decals. Very early issue. Well detailed classic kit of one of the more elegant 1930s automobiles. Features full rolling chassis build up like the real car, optional boot and convertible tops, rubber tires with whitewall inserts, side mounted spares, hinged rear trunk, full interior, numerous plated parts, steerable front wheels from the steering wheel, opening trunk and detailed flathead straight 8 engine with removable hood. Molded in gray, white, clear, chrome and with rubber tires. NOTE: the kit has minor assembly. The engine has been neatly built. Quality of assembly is 'excellent++.' There is no other assembly and zero painting. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. NOTE: there is a tire burn mark on one brake drum (still completely usable) and one optional side curtain (flat) window.
