Classic Cold War kit in large 1/40 scale. This is a 'Yunyj Tyechinik' ('Young Mechanic') release and not the earlier MZMPI. This company succeeded MZMPI (which was the first kit manufacturer in the USSR) and continued till a new name was introduced in the mid 1970s. Good Soviet kit molded in white, gray and clear and includes a glass bottle of (evaporated) cement. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. Yak-18s have been observed in service with the North Korean air force as recently as August 2018.

Very nice kit from the famous line of Scientific ships. Measures about 13 inches long when assembled. Features pre-carved hardwood hull, hardwood and balsa printed parts sheets, metal fittings (such as ladders, life boats, bitts, prop and much more), cloth sails, large hardwood display base, pedestals, name plate, tapered and straight wood and metal stock as needed, thread for standing and running rigging, colorful decals, full size plans with instructions and full rigging diagrams. Never started. The fittings are still in the factory sealed bag and all non-sealed parts have been inventoried complete with decals and plans.

Original motorized dealership model in 'very good' condition. It has a bare metal chassis, metal spring motor with the original key, metal axles and drive gear. The motor does work. The model is 100% complete. Amazingly, the "PLYMOUTH" decal on the hood is intact and excellent. The body has very good color and gloss. This is a celluloid body and it does have some warping; but it is better than the overwhelming majority of the survivors. Mirrored windows are 'excellent' and the metal front bumper and grill and metal rear bumpers have 'excellent++' chrome. The previous owner has the fine trim correctly painted silver to 'professional' standards - it could pass for factory paint but it is not. The box is not original.

First issue from 1956 with Northern Lights logo. This logo only appeared for one year. In 1957 it was replaced with the famous oval 'Famous Fighters' Sunburst logo. The artwork is by Jim Cox. This kit was one of a very famous line of 1/48 scale WWI aircraft kits introduced by Aurora at this time. Due to the popularity, subjects were still being released into the 1960s. Molded in glossy olive green and black. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.
