The new and revised (for this issue) 36 page instruction manual has over 150 photos and illustrations that leaves nothing to change. NOTE: this kit came in a very sturdy and thick cardboard box. It will ship in that box wrapped in thick brown paper. If you wish for it to be placed inside another box, let me know in the 'comments' section of checkout but be aware that additional shipping charges will apply and an invoice will emailed to you for that.

SALE!! Includes all 6 kits in the 2 boxes shown. NOTE: Sold AS-IS and not inventoried. This collector was very meticulous and of his thousands of kits that I did inventory, 95% are complete. But on these kits he cut the sprue (trees) with the part numbers still attached to each number, so the parts are loose. Because of that, I have not inventoried these kits. NOTE: he built minor sub assemblies (cockpit tubs, wing halves, etc.) to 'professional' quality. Again, these kits are sold not inventoried and AS IS hence the very low price.

Still factory sealed and from 1997. This unique kit uses a new injection molded fuselage, clear canopy and cabin glass with Frog B-17 wings, elevators and landing gear. That is correct for this aircraft (please see history below). Includes Pan Am, TWA and USAF decals and painting guide. Because of WWII, only 10 Model 307 Airliners were built. The design was based on the B-17 and used many of the non-fuselage components. The Model 307 was the first airliner to have a pressurized passenger cabin. Three aircraft were purchased by Pan Am and five by TWA. When WWII started, the Army Air Corps used all the available remaining 307s and re-named them C-75s. Using TWA aircrew, they flew an amazing 3000 trans-Atlantic flights. In 1944 they were rebuilt by Boeing. After the war they were returned to TWA and served until 1951, when they were purchased by Aigle Azur Transporters Aeriens in France. Eventually they ended up in Indochina. The Pan Am aircraft operated on the South American routes before and during the war. After 1945 Pan Am used them until 1948, where they saw continued life in the new role of air freighters.
