The box art painting is "Invasion Landing" done for Revell by Ken Smith. Molded in a beautiful dark gloss blue from the same molds at the "S" issue. Inside, the kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

NOTE: builder or parts kit only. Complete but started, please read carefully. Very rare kit of French manufacture. Like many of the other Brifaut kits, this one features injection molded internal aircraft parts that duplicate the actual aircraft structure, and a fine cloth covering material that looks like silk. NOTE: the kit has been neatly started. Step one is complete and step 2 is 95% complete. Quality of construction is very good. The fuselage is straight with no gaps just a small amount of glue visible, mainly where it was rigged. The rigging is 'excellent' in placement and detail. There is no other assembly. The kit does include every plastic part, the original covering material, the original rigging thread and holder, full instructions (very nice but there is clear glue on them), the original three pages of extensive aircraft history and the page with construction notes and mention of the other kits to be issued.

Box artwork is still dated 1956 and is from the "S" issue, but the side panels now show the early issues of the Thermopylae, early incorrect SSBM Abraham Lincoln and several Picture Fleet ships, dating it in about 1960 or 1961. Revell's early ship models were remarkably detailed. This kit is no exception and has excellent detail. Kit comes with preformed ratlines and full rigging instructions. Never started and complete. NOTE: some of the custom decals have a tire burn on them. There are no burns on any of the clear (amazingly) and all other parts are factory sealed.
