Builders report that ARC's claim of 'precision cut parts' is true. The 'Quick System' means that the main airframe can be assembled in about two days; the smaller details take a little longer. The box would rate higher than 'good-' but it has some damage and missing section on the lower long side.

The Sukhoi T-49 was a modernized version of the Sukhoi Su-11 with new radar and modified armament. The project was officially launched on August 6, 1957. The maiden flight of the T-49 prototype took place in January 1960, after various rolling tests in October 1959. While not successful in it's own, the T-48 lead to the twin-engine T-58, which became the very successful Su-15 Flagon (of which 1290 were made of all Flagon variants). Rare and still factory sealed. This AHM release is from the original Crown molds that would make it 1/50 scale; Burn guide lists the mold origins as unknown and lists it as 1/48. Crown made a very good line of motorized tanks and AHM reissued many of them. Associated Hobby Manufactures was an American company that did not cut it's own molds but sourced model kits from around the world through the 1960s and probably into the 1970s as well.
