Very rare Japanese kit from the early 1960s. Oriental Mokei used this logo and an 'OM' logo as well. They issued this Nate, a 1/50 A-4A Skyhawk and at least one other kit - the 1/48 RAF SE-5A Scout. They obtained those molds (or copies) from Marusan. No other kits are known at this time. This is a nice kit for that time and is designed for motorized operation. As was the tradition, it includes all the motorizing hardware but not the actual motor. Kit features raised panel detail, movable rudder, elevators, wing flaps and ailerons, three piece canopy and has dual slipper drop tanks. Molded in dark green, ivory and clear. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

Features 409 'W' head V-8 engine, detailed engine compartment, opening hood, detailed underside and complete interior and much, much more. Molded in white, clear, red-tinted clear, two trees of chrome plate and with rubber tires & metal axles and body screws. The kit has never been started. The plastic parts have been inventoried complete. Includes never used AMT tube of Body Putty, original sandpaper, special upholstery set, whitewall stickers and instructions. NOTE: instructions are for the same year convertible issue and the decals are missing. NOTE: there are some tire burns located as follows: lower left quarter panel below the trimline (1 burn), custom roll pan (minor), (1) inner wheel (minor to assembly) and one custom scoop. NOTE: the box displays much better that the 'good-' grade but is ranked as such because there is significant bug damage to the side panel lithograph.

Late 1950s or early 1960s full-scale kit designed for R/C. This model was actually made from factory plans provided by the Piper Aircraft Corporation and to this day is one of the most accurate large Cubs models available. This model is part of Sterling's expensive big-wingspan series that was designed for R/C, free-flight and also includes details for control line operation. Very nicely produced stick-and-tissue model that features precision die-cut ribs, bulkheads, etc, die-cut plywood structural parts, stringers and spars, other wood stock as required, factory-sealed hardware kit, shaped and notched leading and training wing edges, silkspan covering, formed aluminum cowling, formed spring steel landing gear, break-away shock-resistant detachable wing, authentic decals, easy to read step-by-step plans and instructions covering all steps of assembly, radio, free flight or even control line flying. Never started and complete. Sterling was a famous manufacturer dating back to the 1930/40s flying model craze. Although they continued to produce kits for decades after the flying model slump following World War II, they eventually fell victim to the general lack of interest in modeling that occurred in the early 1980s. I always considered Sterling kits to be deluxe kits as they had the action features and included everything needed to complete the model.

Includes book on how an Automobile Chassis really works. The box is 'Good++' condition with nice gloss and color, no missing litho but has general wear, creasing and some clear tape on the sides. The largest injection molded kit ever made of this famous car. From the very early 1960s; features good detail for that time and operates realistically with Cam-a-Matic action. Car moves forward with real motor sound, then begins one of several pre-set steering patterns via one of four cams, stops at selected intervals, then flashes the headlights on then reverses at selected intervals! Measures about 17 inches long when built. Molded in red, black, clear and with plated plastic. Inside the kit is near mint. All internal packing material is present and 'excellent.' All the parts that were factory sealed are still in factory sealed bags. That includes the motor and all metal parts, plated parts, wheels/tires and two bags of red/black parts. The few very large parts and three metal rods what were never factory sealed have been inventoried complete, with an 'excellent' pin-stripe and instrument sticker sheet and 'excellent' instructions. The box displays better than the 'very good' grade but is graded as such due to a closed split on one box bottom corner and one box top corner (right upper side).
