In the mid 1950s, Crown Plastics advertised the release of a series of Knight models - some of the very first figure kits. However, before Crown entered production, Aurora marketed the line for Crown in 1956. The box side rectangular 'Northern Lights' Aurora logo has the 'Crown' logo incorporated into it, as does the logo on the instructions. The 'Crowns' were the first Aurora Knights ever issued, Aurora's very first figures kits, and Aurora gave them the kit numbers K1-98, K2-98 and K3-98. The knights sold well, and Aurora bought the three 'Knight' molds from Crown Plastics within the year. The kit is 100% correct down to the red and white plumes. Inside, the plastic parts are mint. The kit has never been started. The gloss black plastic parts are still sealed in the factory bag. The instructions are correct with the Crown logo in the Aurora logo. The two plumes are in very good condition, which is rare.

Hard-to-find kit from 1951. The Ace Products Company was located at 60 N. San Gabriel Blvd, Pasadena 8, California and produced a line of automobiles and perhaps other subjects also. This kit consists of injection molded hard plastic black wheels and tires, clear injection molded headlights and holders, cast metal steering wheel, grill and MG decals and pre-cut and stock wooden parts. The majority of the parts, including the body, seats, fenders, etc are profile cut. Includes full size plans with assembly illustrations, detailed (for that time) written instructions and two photos of the completed model. The model is complete and never started.

Very large (1/72) partial) kit of this historic destroyer. Includes information so you can build it as she was in World War I or World War II. This is a really basic kit consisting of a 2 piece hull, some small vac pieces and a lot of resin small items such as the screws, bitts, cleats, guns, etc. It includes full size plans and 15 pages of detailed instructions that include photographs. The instructions list the fittings required (Bluejacket and Model Shipways). SPECIAL ORDER only; not shipped from stock. Kit is molded upon receipt of payment. Time from receipt to shipping your kit is usually 8 to 10 weeks. This model is not recommended for builders lacking experience with vacuform kits. Scratch building skills will be essential. The USS Ward is said to have fired the first shots of World War II. Before the main strike on Pearl Harbor, the Ward was on patrol. She located and sank one of five Japanese Midget Submarines.

Never started. The smaller parts are still in the factory sealed wax bag; the parts that were never sealed have been inventoried complete. Frogflite kits were made by A.A. Hales Ltd P.O. Box 33, Hinckley, Leicestershire, Great Britain. If constructed properly, they were fast to build and flew quite well.
