Late 1960s Pyro issue from original molds. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many of the kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. This model is nicely detailed and the box states that it can be converted to a 'road racing' or slot car. Features detailed molded chassis and separate front and rear suspension parts, full interior and molded in a beautiful gloss red and clear plastic. This kit has no assembly but NOTE: it has very neat and minor painting. The interior carpet is painted black (to 'professional' quality), the stainless trim on the body top and inner door panels is painted silver (to 'professional' quality) and painting began (but was not finished) on the tires and whitewalls to 'excellent' quality. There is no other painting and zero assembly. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

The largest injection molded kit ever made of this famous car. From the very early 1960s; features good detail for that time and operates realistically with Cam-a-Matic action. Car moves forward with real motor sound, then begins one of several pre-set steering patterns via one of four cams, stops at selected intervals, then flashes the headlights on then reverses at selected intervals! Measures about 17 inches long when built. Molded in red, black, clear and with plated plastic. The kit has never been started. The motor with metal parts and plated parts are still in their factory sealed bags, as are half of the red parts, the brass plated parts and the black wheels/tires. NOTE: one red parts bag is open; the kit appears (I say appears because one red bag is still sealed) to be missing the starting crank and short steering column sleeve; both are easily made. Also missing decals. Otherwise inventoried with all other parts and instructions present. The yellow interior display cardboard is present and in 'good' condition. The box top displays much better than the 'fair++' grade but is graded as such because one short side is torn but complete and taped from the inside. The lower box (tray) is complete but split on many corners and repaired with clear tape. There is a small, high quality repair to the underside of the chassis where there was a 1 inch closed split on a fender mount.

Early 1940s kit from the famous Ideal Aeroplane & Supply Company, which was founded in 1911. True scale kit measures just over 12 inches long when assembled. Features excellent, fully carved wooden hull with metal fittings, other factory-cut wood parts, two quality sheets of printwood, other wood stock as required (mainly dowels), sandpaper and plans. The plans are very highly detailed and well drawn and include top, side, back and front elevations, detailed construction sub-assembly drawings, hull templates, paint guide and text instructions also. There is even a large format color flag sheet; four flags are cut out, two are present and two missing, but all the ones required for this ship are present. Never started and inventoried complete except for those 2 flags. This kit represents a very early PT boat designed by Hubert Scott Paine with three 1350 HP engines and four torpedoes.
