Rare 1959 first issue in three color plastic. Box is in 'very good+++' condition with like-new colors and gloss. All four corners are solid. The only flaws are light general wear. Molded in correct white, tan and dark brown. Excellent detail, even by today's standards. Features turrets rotate and guns elevate, other guns rotate, rudder turns and davits lower and raise. Never started. Complete with all parts, decals, flag sheet and instructions. The Olympia was the famous flagship of Admiral Dewey at the Battle of Manila Bay during the Spanish American War.

Engine hatch cut out and made to open (professional); scratch build engine included. There is no other assembly and zero painting. It was in this battle that both ships were sunk by Japanese airborne torpedo attack.
