1966 Pyro issue from original molds. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many kit subjects based on historical significance instead of popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to the actual car in most cases Features detailed chassis, complete interior and more. Molded in brown and clear. Advertised as being ideal for slot car conversion. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including instructions.

Still factory sealed. 1970s Life-Like issue from 1960s Pyro molds. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many of its kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Even in the late 1960s Pyro designers decided that the '57 Chevy was a modern classic. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. This model is nicely detailed and Pyro states that it can be converted to a 'road racing' or slot car.

NOTE: builder only. Please read carefully. Unusual issue dated 1998 that includes decals for three different Berlin Airlift aircraft. Excellent kit originally from Monogram molds. Features detailed cockpit, cargo compartment with optional position loading doors, detailed landing gear and engines and markings for both versions. NOTE: this kit has minor but neat assembly. The following sub-assemblies are built: clear side windows (quality of assembly is 'excellent++), wheel halves are built and painted ('very good++' quality), navigators glued to bulkhead ('excellent') and the engines and tail wheel are neatly painted (but not assembled). There is no other painting or assembly. Inventoried and NOTE: missing one small part, #22 venturi tube. Otherwise includes all other parts, instructions and decals.

Very rare first and only motorized issue dated 1961 with the Master Modeler logo. Contains Master Modeler collectors stamp for this kit. Includes full motor pack with "Long Life Motor - Brass Contacts - Precision Gears." Operates forward or reverse. Inside, the kit is exactly as it left the factory. The motor, motorizing parts and hardware are still in their small factory sealed bag. All the riverboat parts are still in the large internal factory sealed bag. Includes decals, flag sheet, Master Modeler's Stamp and instructions all in 'excellent' condition.

Airfix Vickers Vanguard Jet-Prop - Trans-Canada Airlines, 1/144, 4-98

The British were very quick to design and build successful turbo (jet) prop airliners after the war. The turboprops had superior speed, range and fuel economy. The Vanguard was one of several excellent designs. She cruised at 425 MPH with a full passenger load and 7 to 8 tons of cargo below the cabin. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: one propeller is missing one blade.

From Lincoln molds and a very nice older kit. Features full interior with cockpit and cabin seating, optional position cabin doors, detailed rotor head, landing gear and more. The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed bags. The parts that were not factory sealed (fuselage and rotor blades only) have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions.

Purchased new on May 13, 1966 from Topps in Cleveland. Even includes an never-opened tube of Comet model cement as well as the receipt for the kit. Large scale issue for rubber or gas free flight, or easily converted to RC using modern tiny and light servos and receivers. Kit features traditional wood/tissue construction with completely formed and finished leading and trailing wing edges, high-quality, die-cut balsa printwood, balsa stripwood and spars, clear (and in perfect condition) vacuform canopy and spinner, fully formed wooden main and tail wheel, rubbber motor, plastic prop, decals, two colors of covering tissue and excellent, large full size plans/instructions. Never started and complete. Comet was a famous manufacturer of stick and tissue flying and static models. In the 1930s Great Depression, they lead the low-priced kit revolution with the "Dime Scale" kits and famous advertisements in Model Airplane News magazine and others. Comet reached it's peak in the 1930s when they acquired the services of Carl Goldberg. Goldberg was a highly accomplished modeler with articles in Model Airplane News and famous designs that won him several National level competitions in the 1930s and beyond. (Carl Goldberg went on to found his own company and produced well designed and popular free-flight and RC aircraft). Comet survived the post World War economic slump and continued kit production until they were bought out by long-time competitor Guillow's in 1998.

Still factory sealed. Wide 'White' box 1960s issue with white side panels. Action-packed artwork shows part of a box of B-24s at the moment of 'Bombs Away!' Guns blaze at attacking fighters while flak burst close in. One B-24 is going down with the starboard wing in flames. Nice kit featuring moving turrets and elevating guns, movable control surfaces, retracting landing gear, rotating props and optional position crew entry door and ladder.
