Late 1960s Pyro issue from original molds. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many of it's kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. This model is nicely detailed and has a tree of chrome parts and clear parts also. The box states that it can be converted to a 'road racing' or slot car. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. NOTE: one very small bumper brace on the body has broken off and missing - the other side is intact so one can be scratch built from stock plastic.

Very rare. Still factory sealed. Large scale (1/25) model is motorized with an RE-56 motor (the box says it is included) and has an amazing array of features. The 'Special Automatic Transmission' gives improved climbing ability by doubling the torque and switches to low-torque for faster, level road running. You can select forward or reverse and a cam provides a choice of steering patterns. The turret also rotates and the gun barrel moves up and down. The treads are built separately and you can vary the length as needed. Idler wheels are spring cushioned. Knowing Imai, there are more probably more features but I cannot confirm that since the kit is still factory sealed.

Incredibly rare in this condition. Jim Walker produced a line of ready-to-fly balsa aircraft in the 1940s and early 1950s and the Hornet was one of the most popular. This is fresh hobby stock that has never been sold; I believe I was the first one to open the box. The box is in exceptional 'excellent++' condition with very little wear, great colors and perfect flaps and lids. Inside, it is factory new with all parts in great condition. Even the color printing on the wood is as new. It has never been built and has been inventoried complete. The instructions are on the box side. Very few of these survived; they were inexpensive, disposable items that were great fun to fly.

Rare early issue from the 1950s with fantastic Ray Gaedke artwork. The Convair VTO was a Navy program for a high performance zero-length take off fighter. The aircraft flew well but transition from vertical/horizontal and back was tricky. This, combined with the performance of the new jets signaled the end of the program in 1955. Comes with boarding ladder. Molded in the correct high gloss silver and clear. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Very rare 1960 Motorized release with John Steel box artwork. This is the original Pre S PT boat with motorizing features added. Full hull model is 9 inches long and includes torpedoes, 20mm and 50 caliber guns, 3 crew figures, steerable rudder, reduction gears, electric motor and all running gear. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. The motorizing parts are still sealed in their factory bag. NOTE: Part #31, a sailor with a machine gun, has the gun base and barrel broken off. The base is present, but the barrel is missing.
