Still factory sealed but the seal has split away from the left short side and is damaged. From the 1950s with great box art. Nice early kit that is close to 1/144 scale. Lincoln was based in Hong Kong. Plastic kits were not the primary business, but they established quite a line of them before discontinuing production in the late 1960s/early 1970s. Many molds moved to Kader, also in Hong Kong, who reissued the line. Many molds eventually found their way to the USA either through ATP (who purchased the excess kit stock when Kader sold out) or IM.

Revell's early ship models were remarkably detailed. This kit is no exception and has excellent detail. Kit comes with preformed ratlines and full rigging instructions. Most likely the 5th issue of this kit. Note the light green background and 300 price extension. Box artwork is still dated 1956 and is from the "S" issue, but the side panels now show the early issues of the Thermopylae, early incorrect SSBN Abraham Lincoln and several Picture Fleet ships, dating it in about 1960 or 1961. Never started and complete. Includes all parts, assembly/rigging instructions, rigging material and flag sheet. Please note that the box displays better than the 'Exc-' rating. It is rated lower because there is a knife cut on the right long side.

NOTE: builder kit, please read carefully. First issue hardbox is dated 1956. Nice kit of the Navy's high horsepower trainer. Has many operating features- canopy slides open, gear retracts with functional gear doors, prop and wheels rotate and includes instructor, student pilot and mechanic figures. Molded in yellow and clear. There is no assembly but NOTE: there is some painting. The cockpit interior, pilot stick, wheel hubs, engine, prop, tail hook, seat, struts and two figures have all been neatly painted. You can paint over it, or most paint can be stripped from plastic with DOT3 brake fluid or spray over cleaner or any other safe, tested plastic paint stripper. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Still the only way to build a big 1/48 scale Super Thunderbolt. Conversion kit features recessed panel line detail, aircraft history, detailed text instructions, superb full size drawings and many exploded assembly drawings. Requires a base kit - the nice Hawk / Testors model is recommended. Never started and complete with all parts and instructions & drawings. The 16-cylinder 490 mph Super Thunderbolt. This radical craft was designed to test the Chrysler XIV-2220-1 liquid-cooled inverted 'V-16' engine. Two P-47D airframes were set aside for modification by Republic at Evansville under subcontract to Chrysler. The airframe was redesigned from the firewall forward and under the belly from the nose to the radiator to a point aft of the rear gas tank. A GE CH5 Turbo Supercharger was installed in the lower rear fuselage. A 14 foot diameter Curtiss propeller drove the power plant. Many problems were encountered with the engine, so the aircraft did not fly till after the war in Europe on July 26th, 1945. Twenty-seven test flights were made including one at 30,000 ft that reached 490 mph.

Beautiful brass locomotive and tender, hand-built in Japan by the famous United Scale Models. This one-owner model has been carefully stored in the original box, but the foam is a recent replacement cut by hand. Under 14x magnification, the wheels show that it has been run -but not a great deal. The factory paint and all lettering & numbers are beautiful but please this model has been 'moderately weathered' to professional standards. I see no modifications. I believe them to be complete with no missing or broken parts; but please examine the photos for yourself! Ask me if you need something checked more closely. I have no narrow gauge track, so I am unable to test the locomotive, so it is sold "As Is." There is no paperwork present.
