Rare model from 1985. Designed for Radio Control operation, the Windbag has a big 12 square inch parachute for an airfoil. The wing breaks down to 'pocket size' for transporting. The wing is mounted on the top of an alloy kingpost which gives it an exceptionally low center of gravity so it is totally self stabilizing. From any maneuver, simply release the controls and it will revert to level flight. Even in a totally stalled condition, it will simply lower slowly. But you are more likely to enjoy the fast climb rate and outstanding manoeuvrability including loops. Features precision made softwing with no finishing requjired, compount tapered, virtually unbreakable GRP mainspar, rugged 6 strut light alloy main gear undercarriage, alloy mount for tought 3mm ply foreplane, tubular alloy for kingpost and nose boom, all pre-drilled and pre-formed alloy componants, steerable nose wheel, 3 large diameter balloon wheels, birch ply for the fuselage pod, all materials for the streamlined cockpit, comprehensive accessory pack with all R/C linkage, connectors, screws nuts and more & complete step-by-step instructions with plans. Features a unique system of landing gear operation: when you pull the prop outward and rotate it CCW, the landing gear retracts. Then pull it outward and rotate it CW, and the gear extends. Push the prop in, and it freewheels as normal. Other features include movable control surfaces, detailed cockpit, full decals, sliding canopy, bracing material and instructions for rigging. Molded in red, yellow, silver and clear.

From 1966 and part of a rare, limited production run. Even rarer in investment-grade condition inside and out; please read carefully and examine the photos as you may know more about this engine that I do. Beautiful, like-new condition brass narrow gauge locomotive, hand-built in Japan by the famous United Scale Models. The original box is in amazing 'near mint+' condition. Inside, the model is still wrapped in the original plastic that is printed in blue with 'UNITED' and their logo. All of the internal packing material is present and perfect - the two pieces of 'sponge' material, the foam cutout and the original internal white cardboard spacer. This one-owner model has always been carefully stored in the original box. Under 14x magnification I cannot see but the slightest wear on the wheels, so I would grade it as 'never run' although it was probably test run at United before shipping. I can see no missing parts, but again, please check the photos and ask questions. There is nothing broken but one small link and rod has come off; this is easily repaired. I have no narrow gauge track, so I am unable to test the locomotive, so it is sold "As Is." There is no paperwork present. Must be shipped insured.
