Still factory sealed. First issue from 1968 and the rarest box art of all issues with the "ACTION! Lunar Module Included" artwork at the lower right. Still the best Saturn in 1/144 scale due to the excellent detail that Monogram was famous for. All three stages separate from each other in order to demonstrate a simulated flight. Apollo upper section opens to release lunar module with two stages and operating landing legs. Includes three figures and launch pad stand. Although I cannot confirm it because the kit is sealed, this issue normally includes the beautiful illustrated "Apollo-Saturn Manned Flight To The Moon" large pamphlet and is molded in white, silver and with a yellow base.

Rare kit from 1945 and in superb, investment-grade condition. Excellent and well detailed model for that time. All-wood 'DeLuxe' model that has 'All Parts Prefabricated - No Cutting Necessary' and also included paint and cement. Scale is not given, but this is a scale model and measures about 8 inches long when assembled. Features all pre-cut hardwood parts, a sealed envelope of small parts, glass bottles of glue and paint (intact but dried), sandpaper and detailed, illustrated instructions. The kit has never been started. The small parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed envelope. The parts that were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including instructions.

Early Fujimi Mokei issue includes a Mabuchi Mini-Baby motor still factory sealed in a small, clear plastic bag. The actual model is an older but very nicely molded kit. Includes decals for the the three listed aircraft and many more on a large sheet, color painting guide on the bottom of the box and a markings guide on the instructions for all the major USN Aircraft Carrier Hellcats in the Pacific Theater. Features very fine raised panel detail, cockpit, optional plastic parts for motorizing, bombs and drop tank and working arresting hook. The model as never been started. The parts are still in the factory sealed bag with all parts, decals and instructions.

Early Motorized release from the 1950s with hard box and classic Ray Gaedke Art. Molded in green and clear plastic with a large decal sheet that includes the checkerboard nose, rudder stripes and fuselage + wing invasion stripes. Never started. The motor is still factory sealed and the other parts have been inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Please note that the box displays much better than the 'very good' grade but is graded as such because both short sides have fading and significant wear near the edges. Modern reissue of the original 1961 kit. Large-scale, detailed model that can be flown rubber free flight, gas free flight, or converted to electric RC using modern servos and receivers. Features quality balsa die-cut parts and strip wood, firewall for gas engine installation, scale plastic wheels, plastic propeller, light plastic nose cowl, excellent full color decals, covering tissue and excellent full size plans. Guillow's founder, Paul K. Guillow, was a WWI naval aviator. In 1926 he began producing wooden model airplane kits. His 'Shelf Models' were some of the earlier non-flying models in production. Guillow's grew during the model boom of the 1930s, and when the Depression hit the hardest, Guillow's responded with lower prices and became one of the low price leaders, frequently advertising in Model Airplane News and other leading publications. During the war, like most manufacturers, Guillow's was forced to alternative materials such as cardboard and pine. Guillow's survived the post WWII slump by creating many inexpensive profile flying rubber powered aircraft and gliders in the 1950s (along with North Pacific) which became famous - some are still available today. The stick and tissue lines have been updated with laser cut parts and are still in production.

Very rare, especially in this condition. Original friction-drive promotional model in a stunning yellow with a black chassis and metal axles. One-owner model was obtained new in 1969 in Lexington, KY by a very discriminating adult collector. The box is original. The model has perfect color and gloss, the chrome is like new and has never even been displayed. Tires are perfect (never rolled) and it has never even been displayed. I would grade it 9.7 out of 10 with 10 being flawless. I naturally hesitate to declare anything 'flawless.'

Features finely engraved hull with raised panel lines, detailed superstructure with ammo boxes, pump case, life rafts and rings, searchlights, horn , DF loop antenna, clear windows, ships wheel and even tiny engine speed control levers.
