Rare original issue. This is truly a 'Top Quality' slot car kit as the box top states. Features self-adjusting weight equalizers, adjustable brass chassis, machined aluminum wheels, new formula rubber rear slick tires, metal threaded axles, real knock-off wheel retainers made of aluminum, knock-off wrench, independent front wheels, new high torque motor, special cement, all hardware, pickups and contact wipes, beautiful scale 'Cyclolac' plastic one-piece body, many detail parts molded in ivory, clear and chrome plate as well as nylon bushing for all moving parts. The kit is not built. It has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts (some parts are off the trees). Decals and instructions are included. Instructions are in 'near mint' condition and the decals are only 'good+' with some minor bug damage and slight flaking along the right side. NOTE: the model is not built, clearly nothing has been glued or painted and the motor has never been wired up, with these kits it is always possible that some of the metal screw-together only parts have been assembled at some point then disassembled.

Rare. First issue from 1967 with Boeing prototype markings. The kit contains two large 18 inch long SSTs, one in landing and one in cruise configuration. The Boeing SST modeled here is the second (2707-200) variant which still had the swing-wing design which proved impractical in this aircraft. The damaging effects of sonic booms over population centers ultimately contributed to the cancellation of the project. Never started. This model is part of a very popular and successful line of 1/48 World War II kits that Monogram issued through the 1960s. Kit features retracting landing gear, rotating wheels and prop, pilot and cockpit and optional drop tank. NOTE: has very neat assembly. The fuselage halves, instrument panel and antenna are built to 'professional' quality. There is no other assembly. The cowling is nearly painted black; there is no other painting. Inventoried with all parts, decals and instructions present. NOTE: one drop tank half is green plastic instead of the correct silver. It is from a later issue of this same kit.

High quality resin model with photoetched details. Features very nice underside and suspension, engine, excellent interior and more. The kit has never been started. The small parts are still in the factory sealed bags. The large parts were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions. The Buffel was the primary mine-protected APC of the South African Army during the Angolan conflict. It was certainly not the most comfortable vehicle, but it offered the necessary protection. Buffels were also used as armoured fighting vehicles and were proven in this roll. The Buffel was introduced in 1978 after it was found that the SAA needed a basic mine protected vehicle. More than 1400 were delivered before production stopped. A few found their way to other armies as well. The Buffel weighed 6.14 tons full loaded, had 4x4 drive through a 6 cylinder water cooled diesel, could travel 96 km/h on the open road or 30 km/h off road, had a range of 1000 km and a crew of 1+10. Many were armed with 7.62 machine guns.
