Still factory sealed but the seal has shrunk and drawn the box top slightly concave. Very rare and especially in sealed condition. The seal is completely intact with no splits. Jo Kotula painted this amazing box art for the 1958 issue. Although this box has a 1958 copyright date, this issue is actually later, from the mid 1960s. Judging from the '100' price extension, this is close to or the final issue of this kit by Aurora.

SALE!! Includes all five builder kits in four boxes as shown. Please read carefully for the condition. The two T-33 kits are 100% complete with all parts and even extra decals. However, NOTE: each has very minor 'professional' quality sub-assembly: Kit 1-cockpit tub only, no other assembly. Kit 2- cockpit tub; intake splitters to fuselage; drop tank halves. No other assembly. The Harrier and two F-16 kits are NOTE: Sold AS-IS and not inventoried. This collector was very meticulous and of his kits that I did inventory, 95% are complete. But on these kits he cut the sprue (trees) with the part numbers still attached to each number, so the parts are loose. Because of that, I have not inventoried these kits. NOTE: he built minor sub assemblies (cockpit tubs, wing halves, etc) to 'professional' quality. Again, these kits are sold not inventoried and AS IS hence the very low price.

This popular kit is dated 1961 and is a true issue from that year because it has 'Famous Fighters' in the border of the Aurora logo. When Aurora moved to the West Hempstead plant, all model kits had been fairly small. But they planned a series of very large bombers. Aurora's instincts were correct, and the B-26, B-25 and B-29 were a sales success. Correctly molded in silver and clear and with the large, clear triangle base stand. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Please note that the box displays better than 'excellent' but it graded as such because is corner wear and a 1/2" x 1/2" tape tear on the lower long box side panel.
