Very rare original TV series kit with the interior light up option. The box has the 1966 copyright date. The forward control and crew's quarters are internally lit with four light bulbs. This kit was more complicated than the non-lit version and was not issued for very long. Oddly enough, it features the same kit number and price extension of the non-lit kit; the only difference is on the side of the box it says 'FEATURING: Upper-Lower Dome And Power Units Equipped With Operating Lights." The model includes a very large clear display stand, clear orange-tinted engine fronts, clear green-tinted upper and lower saucer center domes, light bulbs, battery holder and metal contacts. All parts and instructions are correct for this rare version. This kit has never been started. It has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Decals are in amazing 'near mint++' condition and the instructions are 'near mint.'

This is unusual as this same artwork was used later on both Craftmaster TBF issues; usually the Craftmaster artwork was different. Well molded kit for that time. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried with all parts present and includes decals and instructions. However, NOTE: one AA gun barrel is broken off the mount and missing. There is an antenna with three masts; one simple mast is broken off and missing. Both the gun and mast are easily replaced with fine wire or pulled sprue.
