2nd issue. The 1st and 2nd issues are identical except for the kit number; 'P19' for the first and 'PA19' for the 2nd. Well detailed for that time and features two hostesses, two boarding stair ramps, tip tanks, battery truck and extensive TWA decals. Molded in the correct gloss white and silver. Never started. Inventoried with all parts, decals and instructions present.

Still factory sealed but the seal has split and the box has had another heavier kit stacked on top of it. There is moisture damage also. First issue dated 1966. This kit is part of the very famous line of 1/48 scale World War II action kits. Finely molded and detailed for that time with traditional Monogram quality. Features optional parts so you can built a the ship-based (float) or wheeled land version, good cockpit detail, underwing bombs, elevating and rotating gun, pilot and gunner figures, five piece canopy that can be positioned closed or in several open configurations and choice of US Navy or Royal Navy decals. The Royal Navy aircraft were called Kingfisher I and 100 of them were delivered with both wheel and float gear. The US Navy aircraft is that of Lieutenant William F. Eadie from a Kingfisher squadron based in the Ellice Islands. He spotted and rescued Capt. Eddie Rickenbacker and his companions after they had been on a raft in the Pacific for 21 days and virtually given up for lost. Lt. Eadie moved the most injured into the radio compartment while Rickenbacker and the other crew member were lashed to the wings. Eadie figured that the aircraft could not fly, and luckily he met a PT boat and transfered the uninjured men to it.

This is a high quality multimedia kit featuring many cleanly cast metal parts, numerous photoetched brass parts on two frets, separately resin cast control surfaces and other details, beautiful resin upper and lower wings, protected on a vac form, superb vacuformed fuselage, tail plane, seat and cowl, four extensive decal sheets including all lozenge markings, paint and rigging guides and marking guide. The kit has never been started. All of the small parts are still in factory sealed bags and the large parts that were never sealed have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions.

Great builder kit dated 1991 and made from the original Aurora molds. In 1977 Monogram purchased the Aurora molds and only reissued the best and most commercially viable models. This monster and others were issued in the early 1990s, probably after re-negotiating the license agreement with Universal (as hinted to on the box side). Molded in a stunning glow-in-the-dark plastic and also glows in a black light. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes instructions.

The 1st issue of this kit with fantastic 'S' Box artwork dated 1956. Revell's early ship models were remarkably detailed for their time and this kit is no exception. Kit even has the original sealed tube of Revell 'S' Cement. Never started. The small parts are still in the factory sealed bag. The parts that were not sealed have been inventoried complete.
