Still factory tape sealed. Rare. Nicely detailed, limited-run resin kit. The Ar.TEW.16/43-23 is unique to me because it looks like it is composed of common parts of many other more common aircraft; however, that is not true and it was an all new design. This fighter dates from 1943, and was to be of an all-metal construction. It featured swept-back wings, and two He S 011 turbojets were mounted beneath the wings. The fuselage contained three fuel tanks which were located behind the cockpit. The main landing gear rotated 90 degrees before being retracted forwards into the wing. As per the Ar TEW 16/43-13, a spherical tire was chosen for the front landing gear. The armament consisted of a single MG 151/15 15mm machine gun and two MG 213/20 20mm cannon, all located in the nose beneath the cockpit. This aircraft did not get out of the preliminary design phase; instead, design and production was concentrated on the Ar 234.

During the golden era of realistic train models, La Belle Woodworking Company created perhaps the very finest scale kits of early American equipment. The kit features die cut hardwood parts (no balsa) such as pre-cut and scribed sides all cut to the correct size, car ends done in the same fashion, excellent underside and cast metal details, building instructions and plans and decals/transfers. I have seen these models built and they look identical to the real prototypes. The kit has not been started. Inventoried and NOTE: missing both queenpost. SALE!! Rare Aurora Great Britain issue made by Playcraft Toys Ltd, London. Dated 1957 with classic Jo Kotula box art. Please note that the Sunburst Logo has "Playcraft Hobby Kits" in the border and not 'Famous Fighters' like the USA issues have. Although made in England, it is molded in the same glossy dark olive drab, black and clear plastic as the US issue. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. The box has wear and creasing as shown and a 1cm x 1cm area of pen writing on the left short side panel.

1955 issue with great box art. This was Monogram's 8th plastic aircraft kit and sported the fine fit and finish that they soon became famous for. This model has the black rubber tires is the second issue; the only difference from the first issue is the "PA" vs. "P" part number. Features rotating propellers, optional retracted or 'landing' position floats, two torpedoes and two crew members. Molded in medium blue and clear with the black rubber tires. 1958 first issue hardbox featuring some of my favorite 'S' box artwork. Correct, original issue molded in three colors. Not a reproduction. The box is in 'very good+++' condition with great color and gloss. There are no price tags, no tag marks, no litho tear or missing litho, no fading, four solid original corners and no stains. Flaws include even light general wear as shown, a very short and mild crease at the upper left and residue from thin, clear tape on all four sides. Loaded with working features typical of kits at the time. The entire gantry tower folds back and moves on railroad base, the elevator moves to the four different work platforms and the Explorer Satellite can be removed from the Jupiter rocket. Includes crew of 7. Inside, the kit has never been started. Parts are molded in red, medium gray and white. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and completely flat 'very good++' condition decals and 'very good' instructions with typical yellowing and some edge wear, the heaviest at the bottom.
