The Saab 21R was Sweden's first military jet aircraft. It was made by taking existing Saab 21 airframes and installing a de Havilland Goblin turbine engine. This proved to be more challenging than anticipated but the first flight was made on 10 March 1947. Two more years passed before all developmental problems were solved and the aircraft entered mass production and service with the Swedish Air Force. Aircraft either had the original de Havilland built Goblin 2 ("RA" variants) or the Swedish license built Goblin 3 ("RB" variants). Thirty of each were built, for a total of 60 aircraft. After a fairly short service life, all airframes were converted to A21R and A21RB ground attack aircraft, which carried five 180mm Bofors rocket projectiles or 10 80mm anti-tank rockets. This is a conversion kit consisting of high-definition cast resin parts as required to build the 21R. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes text and illustrated instructions. A base kit is required and the Heller 1/72 Saab 21 is recommended.

Early issue hardbox from 1967. Quality stick-and-tissue model designed for long distance/high endurance rubber-powered or .020 Pee-Wee gas powered flights. Features quality die-cut balsa parts, stripwood and spars, light plastic vacuform spinner, exhaust & pilot bust, plastic prop and thrust button, contest rubber, fully formed wheels, balancing clay, metal gear struts and prop shaft, clear windshield material, decals, two colors of covering tissue, full size plans, detailed instructions on flying and more. The model has not been started and inventoried 100% complete. Guillow's founder, Paul K. Guillow, was a WWI naval aviator. In 1926 he began producing wooden model airplane kits. His 'Shelf Models' were some of the earlier non-flying models in production. Guillow's grew during the model boom of the 1930s, and when the Depression hit the hardest, Guillow's responded with lower prices and became one of the low price leaders, frequently advertising in Model Airplane News and other leading publications. During the war, like most manufacturers, Guillow's was forced to alternative materials such as cardboard and pine. Guillow's survived the post WWII slump by creating many inexpensive profile flying rubber powered aircraft and gliders in the 1950s (along with North Pacific) which became famous - some are still available today. The stick and tissue lines have been updated with laser cut parts and are still in production as of 2009.

Hard-to-find model in investment-grade 'Near Mint' condition. This is the rarer final issue from 1963 and not the "S" issue. For this release, the original box art was retained and the part number and name were changed, while the side panels show Revell's then-new series of 1/72 scale WWII aircraft. Note that the this kit is called 'Tactical Rockets' instead of the original 'Tactical Missiles'. These models are well detailed. The Dart includes four missiles, one launcher, three stands, decals, one optical guidance unit and a crew of three. The Little John includes a detailed launcher with elevating rails, movable support legs, decals and crew of three. Molded in dark olive drab and white plastic. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Little John was a light-weight free-flight rocket that was highly mobile. It could be pulled on it's launcher or transported by helicopter. Length was 12 feet long and the warhead was atomic. The Dart was a very early 5-foot long wire guided anti-tank missile with a solid propellant rocket motor. An optical rangefinder was used for guidance.

Very rare 1958 issue. This highly detailed model includes wagon with detailed chassis, hitch & brakes, accessories & tools, display base, two Longhorn Oxen, horse, rider and two figures. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including instructions. This kit has an interesting history. 'Miniature Masterpieces' was formed through an alliance of Lew Glaser (Revell) and Steve Adams (Adams Action Models) in 1953. Although the molds were made at Adams and it had the appearance of an independent company, the firm was run by Revell down to the prototypes being made at the Revell plant. Originally there was no evidence of the parent company on the surface. The State Coach of England was the first kit, issued in 1953. More kits of excellent quality followed. Revell completely took over the line in 1954 and in that year and the next, kits were labeled 'Revell' with a 'Miniature Masterpiece' label on the box top also. However, Adams broke the relationship with Revell in the later 1950s and began making kits under the Adams name with the original molds.
