This large scale model measures 18 inches long when assembled and features very fine surface detail, clear cabin and cockpit windows, cockpit floor & bulkhead, optional position rear airstair door, optional position landing gear, clear wingtip navigation lights and more. Includes a display stand and a very large& colorful decal sheets for ANA. Decals are in 'excellent++' condition. The kit has never been started. Beautiful box art shows a colorful pre-war 'Yellow Wing' PBY rescuing a downed pilot. This kit is dated 1962 but this is release is from about 1964 due to not having 'Famous Fighters' in the logo. The box is in excellent condition with as new color and gloss, four solid corners and no sign of price tags or tape. There is very light wear as shown and slight sun fading on the left short side. The model features retracting pontoons, nose and main landing gear (this is the amphibious version), clear cockpit windshield, turret, side windows and rear blisters and rotating propellers. This version has the desirable large clear two-piece 'World Map' stand. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

The Fw-189 made it's first flight in the late 1930s and was ordered into production soon afterwards. It was built until 1944 and served well on the Eastern Front, where it was known for it's performance, maneuverability, ability to absorb damage and adaptability to many rolls. Includes resin and photoetched details. The kit has never been started. Well molded with recessed panel lines and includes injection molded canopy and decals. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Work began on the HS-132 as a jet powered replacement for all the current dive and ground attack bombers which could not function without complete air superiority. Using the experience from the HS123 and 129, Henschel created a simple design where the pilot lay prone to combat "G" forces. The prototype was almost complete when the Russians captured it in 1945.
