Finally! A museum-quality 1/350 scale model kit of the SS Normandie - The World's Most Beautiful Ocean Liner. This nine-year project is a 100% new kit. Seven of those years were spent accurately modeling the ship from scratch in TurboCAD. All design work was done in CAD by Ken Friend, a master modeler and engineer who specialized in CAD/CAM/CAE Systems Management and Implementation. This limited-run kit represents the Normandie from her 1935 maiden voyage to New York and has over 1,000 individual parts. The hull and larger parts are pressure-cast resin from de-aired molds. There is one very large photoetched brass sheet for railings, ladders & fine details, a set of ultra-high resolution 3D printed davits, three sheets of real wood printed decking (laser printed so they are colorfast; not ink that can run), decals, flag sheet and a DVD with detailed, highly illustrated instructions including painting guide, step-by-step rigging instructions and research material. This is a previously owned kit; I sold this model years back and then purchased the buyers entire estate. The kit has never been started. This model has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions included. NOTE: this kit must be shipped insured.

Includes a factory-sealed, mint condition Fox One #48-005A B-1B Lancer Decal Sheet with paint and markings guide. The actual kit is a Very large and highly detailed featuring 238 pieces, complete cockpit, detailed gear wells, steerable nose wheels, optional position bomb bay door, 16 AGM-69A SRAM missiles with rotary launcher, removable nose with detailed radar, working cockpit ladder, real rubber tires, full storage container in third bomb bay and more. The kit has never been started. The vast majority of the parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags; the one opened bag has been inventoried complete. Includes the Revell decals and instructions. NOTE: the Revell decal sheet has a water stain. The Fox One sheet replaces it and is also a major upgrade and the Revell sheet is very small.

Special item included in this issue are two large, colorful trading cards (C-130 and B-25 Mitchell) and the full color Master Modelers Stamp for the USS Decatur. This large and well detailed full-hull model is almost 16 inches long and features rotating main 5 inch turrets, AA guns, detailed superstructure, life rafts, torpedo tubes, display stand and more. Very rare. Large 1/12 scale kit with hundreds of parts. Features working front and rear suspension, semi-pneumatic rubber tires, steerable front wheels, super detailed engine with flexible ignition harnesses & drive belts and even a removable air cleaner element, detailed engine compartment, opening hood with realistic working hinges, complete driveline and exhaust, opening doors and trunk lid, full interior, front seats that hinge forward and much more. Molded in several colors of plastic, clear, chrome plate and with rubber tires and numerous metal parts. Never started. Inside, it is factory-new. All parts are still factory sealed in the clear plastic bags and the plastic blister packs. All of the colorful presentation cardboard is intact and in 'near mint' condition. With decals and illustrated instructions. First issue hardbox in very nice condition. This legendary AMT 3-In-1 kit can be built stock, custom or competition. The Alexander Brothers served as the AMT consultant for this kit; Barris did many of the others. Model includes numerous optional parts for suspension, motor, exterior and interior as well as custom decals. Molded in white, clear, red-tinted clear and chrome plate with rubber whitewall tires. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Both the decals and instructions are in remarkable 'excellent+' condition. NOTE: there is a very, very light tire burn on the trunk. It's so light that I almost missed it. Easily polished or sanded & polished out with Novus plastic polish.

This kit is from quality Airfix molds and is one of the MPC issues with custom decals and the unique clear modular display stand. This kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: like many of the MPC kits from this time period, the decals are all present but lifting/peeling from the backing paper. Dates from the late 1960s/early 1970s. Note that this issue still has 'Craft Master' under the MPC logo. Before this, MPC was marketing Airfix kits under the Craftmaster name in the USA. This continued for several issues and was finally discontinued although MPC continued to distribute Airfix and their own models.
