This very cleanly molded 'A' variant of the famous F-5 Tiger features over 60 pieces, 'good' cockpit, hinged canopy, pilot figure, two AIM-9 Sidewinders, (2) 750 lb bombs, two Bullpup Missiles and more. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: two bomb fins and 1 wing pylon are a different color plastic; they are from another issue of this same kit. Also includes what appears to be a very nice F-5 cockpit tub and instrument panel from the same-scale Monogram kit (perhaps - just a guess).

Rare. Original 'Four Star' issue from 1959. The box has excellent color and gloss, four solid corners, no tape or price tags and no missing or torn litho. Moderate corner wear on the left and minor corner wear on the right are the only flaws. The kit is molded in the correct high gloss dark blue, silver and black. Features driver, Chrysler dummy engine, six carburetors, drag 'slicks' and pin stripe decals. Includes rope guides and motor mount for powered racing. The instructions provide details on attaching the Jet-X unit to the car. The kit has never been started. NOTE: pinstripe decals are present but 'slingshot' and '7' are missing from the decal sheet. All parts have been inventoried complete including instructions and remaining decals.

Rare 1958 first issue with the box art that made these kits so famous and collectible. This one is in 'excellent++' condition with perfect gloss and color, four solid corners, no repairs, no tags or tag marks, no tape or tape marks (except the factory sealing tape of course), no fading, creases or stains and no torn or missing litho. Flaws include light edge wear and corner wear as shown. Large-scale kit is very well molded for that time and features fine surface detail, moving flaps, ailerons, elevators and rudder and features a full crew. Never started. It has been inventoried 100% complete. Decals and instructions are both in incredible 'Near Mint+' condition. Please NOTE that the vertical stabilizer tips on this kit were incredibly thin and fragile and often the tips (about 3 to 4mm) would break off in shipping. This kit is no exception, but both tips are present and fit back perfectly.
