Very Rare. Nichimo was founded in 1951 and was a very famous Japanese kit manufacturer both at home and around the world. This model dates from the late 1950s or very early 1960s and is part of an extensive and sought-after 1/500 scale IJN Warship Series with expensive glossy box art from the 'Golden Age' of Japanese model kit illustrations. The model can built for motorized operation in water or static with waterline or full hull display. Well detailed and molded for that time, it features all hardware for motorizing, a steel and brass gear box for dual-propeller drive, switch, wire, universal joints, brass batter contacts, metal shafts, an original Mabuchi FA13 still in the original colorful box, one piece lower hull (molded in a realistic IJN 'Hull Red'), one piece upper hull (molded in gray), detailed deck and superstructure, rotating main turrets and separately molded secondary battery and AA guns, catapults, floatplanes and more. Never started. The plastic parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags; the hardware bag is open and inventoried complete. Includes instructions, silver and gold foil-covered cardboard name plate and internal packing display 'band.' Please note that Nichimo did not supply decals with this issue. Please note that the box would display slightly better than the 'good+' rating, but is graded as such because there is a closed tear at the center of the right short side. It has been very neatly and correct repaired from the inside with light weight cardstock and book binding glue.

1970s issue with fantastic box art. This is part of Nichimo's famous 1/500 scale battleship and heavy cruiser line. This full hull kit is designed for operation in water or static full hull or waterline display. Nicely detailed and features lower hull molded in a 'IJN Hull Red' and all other parts molded in a very realistic dark gray. Includes all hardware for motorizing with brass battery contacts, metal shaft, cv joint, switch and more. The kit has never been started. The plastic parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags; the hardware bag has been inventoried complete. Includes decals and instructions. Nichimo did not include the motor in this issue; it had to be purchased separately. Please note that the box has pen scribble on the right as shown.

Early issue from the 1960s. This is the 1980 Testors reissue of this high quality 1967 Hawk model. Very nicely detailed, large-scale (1/32) model features full interior, working rear clamshell doors and side entry doors, rotating-phased-intermeshing rotor blades and more. Includes decals for USAF version shown on the box photo and a very colorful civil firefighter. Never started. Includes all accessories shown on box top. Large kit of the secret aircraft that has reportedly replaced the SR-71. Model is over 26 inches long when assembled. Never started and inventoried with all parts present, 'mint' condition decals and instructions. Includes paint and glue, but no knife or brushes. This is the pre 1994 'lower parts count' version of this kit. In 1994 Testors had a reissue that simply added a tree of parts with landing gear, cockpit, clear, etc.

This is a fine, well-detailed kit which features all recessed panel lines, full cockpit interiors for the pilot, navigator and DSO, three optional position cockpit hatches, detailed landing gear wells, four Mk43 Nuclear Bombs on wing racks, the large MB Pod or the smaller BLU-3/B-3 Fuel/Weapon Pod. Instructions show the boxtop and also rare camo paint configuration and decals are included for both.

Very rare and early MPC kit with the old logo. Of the Gangbusters series, this Roadster is much more difficult to find than the more common Phaeton. Highly detailed with well over 150 parts and features optional parts and decals for all three versions, rolling frame construction just like the actual automobile, detailed flat-head V-8, hinged, opening hood, side-mount spare tires, steerable front wheels, wire wheels, rubber tires with wide whitewall inserts, opening rumble seat, interchangeable convertible top and boot, optional trunk, Gangster and Gun Moll figures, bullet-riddled windshield and radiator, arsenal of weapons, violin case, bootleg bottles and cases, secret weapons compartment and more. Never started. It has been inventoried and the actual car and accessories are complete but NOTE: missing (1) ankle/foot of the lady figure. Otherwise complete with all other parts present. Includes decals and instructions but NOTE: the decals have tire burns. There is a vertical strip of tape across the center left of the box as shown.

Type three logo issue. A very nice kit featuring optional position cabin doors, clear side and cockpit windows, rotating props and wheels, two push-up boarding stairs with railings and extensive BEA decal sheet. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE that one prop is gray instead of silver. That is because one original prop is missing a blade, so I included a later issue complete prop from a later issue.
