Limited issue from the 1970s when AMT bought Frog kits from Britain, reboxed them and marketed them in North America. Has decals for all three Air Forces. High quality Frog kit - no rivets, just fine panel lines for a realistic model. Features separately molded rudder, elevator and ailerons, pilot and gunner figure and detailed engines with rotating propellers. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bag and includes decals and instructions.

This recent reissue is from the original Revell molds of the single greatest model kit made for the Mercury Atlas program. This kit is from AMT's short-lived early 1970s attempt to increase sale by marketing and selling quality Hasegawa kits under the AMT name in the USA Hasegawa made kits in Japan, and AMT put them in boxes.Kit features fine raised and recessed panel lines, cockpit and gear well details and a variety of drop tank and iron bomb load-outs. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Second issue hardbox issue with a 1961 date, but from about 1965 because of the simplified logo. The 'excellent+' condition box shows off the classic Jo Kotula artwork to full effect. This very large 1/48 scale kit features good cockpit and rotor detail, moving rotors, clear side and cockpit windows and full decals. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. The box displays better than the 'excellent+' grade but is rated as such because there is tape residue on at the center of the two long sides.

Rare short-lived 1970s AMT marketing promo to sell quality Frog kits in the USA. One of two known issues, each with unique box artwork. This is the 'long box' version - the other AMT-Frog Ju-88 is in the short box. The kit features high quality moldings with fine panel lines and can be built to a very realistic model. Features separately molded rudder, aileron and elevator control surfaces, three crew members and external bomb load. Includes decals for one Luftwaffe aircraft and one each from the Romania and Finland. Includes a multi-view full color painting guide on the back of the box for the Finland and German aircraft. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

1995 reissue from the original 1960s molds and a perfect 'Classic Builder.' Features stock or supercharged engine, detailed engine bay, opening hood, full interior, numerous custom parts, wild custom front and rear end treatments, accessories and more. Molded in gray, clear, red-tinted clear, beautiful chrome and with rubber tires. The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed clear bag; the others were never sealed and have been inventoried complete with instructions. I cannot find any information about decals coming with this kit, and none are present. As this is the reissue, there is a sign on the bottom that says that the putty, sandpaper and 'upholstery ' material were not included either.

1960s 'Third Logo' issue which is an excellent model of the world's first jet airliner. Includes clear windows, full landing gear, display stand, passenger boarding stairs and BEA decals. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The initial Comet Is were in operation long before the 707, which gave the British an incredible post-war lead in the expanding civil aviation market. Just as the Comet was flying high and orders were pouring in from around the world, Comets began to mysteriously fall out of the sky. Everything from lightning to terrorist bombs were blamed. For months the root cause went undiscovered. Then, in a landmark investigation that is considered the first modern post-crash autopsy, it was discovered that the stresses around a small ADF window on the top of the fuselage were causing metal fatigue failure when the fuselage was pressurized. To confirm this, a Comet I was placed in a water tank and subjected to pressurization stresses. After some time, a dramatic failure occurred. Then parts of a crashed Comet were pulled from underwater proving once and for all that this was the root cause.
