This is the 1968 release of this kit, which may have only been issued twice. The Boeing SST was modeled here in the second (-200) variant which still had the swing-wing design which proved impractical in this aircraft. The damaging effects of sonic booms over population centers ultimately contributed to the cancellation of the project. Nicely molded with all recessed panel lines. The kit has wings that swing, United Airlines decals and a unique display stand. This kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Still factory sealed. Dated 1973. These kits were marketed under 'General Crafts' which was part of AMT. If you look closely, you can see AMT car parts making up much of the aircraft! The wings are car grilles and there are shock absorbers, semi side view mirrors, mag wheels, oil pan and more. Although not a scale model kit, I can remember this being a very popular craft at the time. Includes a 8.75" x 6.76" frame with metallic trim, black background with part identification printed directly on it, plated plastic injection molded parts, glue and instructions. There were at least 6 craft sets total; 2805 Early Roadster, 2806 Airplane and 2807 Viking Ship were all this size; the three others, 2905 Antique Auto, 2906 Iron Horse and 2907 Antique Planes were in 14.75" x 10.75 frames.

KeilKraft was produced by the E. Keil & Company, Limited of Wickford, Essex Great Britain. Keil specialized in stick and tissue scale flying models and gliders. However, they moved into injection molded kits after WWII. Four kits were planned but only two were released. This Hurricane was the first one, followed by F2, a Sopwith Camel. The Stuka and Chipmunk were never issued. This kit has not been started. The parts are either still in the factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

This excellent, limited run injection molded kit was produced by Miroslav Nemecek in the Czech Republic. Very cleanly molded and well detailed model features all recessed panel lines, parts to build one of the three versions and has optional spinners, canopy or folded wings, full cockpit, detailed engine with removable cowl and more. Includes decals for aircraft stationed in Norway and for carrier trials for the aircraft carrier Graf Zeppelin. The kit has never been started. Very rare kit for the advanced collector. In the early 1950s Best Hobby Kits (Best Plastic Corporation of Brooklyn, NY) entered the infant USA plastic model kit market with a series of Indianapolis 500 winners. Six kits were issued - the 1920 Monroe Special, 1922 Murphy Special, 1931 Miller Special, 1935 Gilmore Special, 1940 Maserati Racer and 1953 Fuel Injection Special. The kits were priced correctly and featured 'Super Detailed' parts (for the time). It is unknown why the line failed to sell - it may have been distribution. Best was certainly not a large player in the business. The kit features real rubber Firestone racing tires, decals and some interior detail. The kit has not been started. All parts are still in the original 'krinkle' bag. Complete with decals and instructions.

Very light shelf wear (as shown)is the only flaw. Large scale, detailed model features movable propeller, wheels & control stick, detailed engine, removable cowling, complete cockpit, complete rigging instructions and three crew members. Very rare model from 1960 that 'Looks Like A Real Metal Statue' when finished and measures a big 10.5 inches high and 9.5 inches long. Includes an injection molded giraffe model, cement and an exclusive Marvel Metal Finishing Compound. Never started. Inventoried and includes a tube of factory sealed ITC glue (rare), brush, Marvel Metal Compound in the original container, directions and the giraffe but NOTE: missing one inner leg to the giraffe. If you wish to build the kit, you can simply fill the void (where the part would go) with putty and it will look excellent. Otherwise complete. The ITC Model Craft Marvel Metal Animal Series included an Elephant, Tiger, Lion, Rhinoceros, Gorilla and Giraffe.
