Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good

$89

Original first issue 'Pre-S' kit from 1954 and before the 'S' Cement logo was used. The box has classic 'Flying Dragon' Richard Kishady artwork. Features rotating turrets and propellers, pilot, copilot and bomber figures and "The Flying Dragon" decals. Correctly molded in gloss olive drab and clear and includes the famous Revell Swivel 'Globe' base. Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Revell Lockheed F-94 Starfire 1st Issue - Pre 'S' One Piece Box, 1/56, H201-59

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good++

$225

Very Rare. This is one of the first three aircraft models issued by Revell back in 1953. This kit is correct with no rivets and no landing gear as well as the unique stand that was only issued with these three kits (and their gift set). This box is in unusually good condition, complete with all end flaps and has not been crushed - usually these thin one-piece boxes are in very bad condition. The box has never been repaired. Flaws include the marker writing on the top, the same size marker with 'K219' on the left short end panel, and very light general wear. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Instructions are printed on the back of the box. It is very interesting to note that this kit is different from the 'Pre-S' issue in the following ways: no rivet detail, almost no panel lines, different part numbers, pilots are a part of the fuselage (busts only), one piece wings and absence of the pods at the half-wingspan line, no landing gear and no holes for such, very early 'Colortone' logo decals and a silver, two piece plastic stand of a unique design that was never used again.

Never started and the parts and all paperwork are still in the internal factory sealed bags. Literally all of the contents are factory sealed. Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: VG

Have you ever wanted to build the world's first injection molded plastic kits? Well, now you can and for an affordable price. As you know, Frog in England produced the world's first plastic model kits starting back in 1938. Merlin Models receive permission for this very limited edition, exact replica of this historic Frog Penguin kit. Nicely molded and also includes photocopies of the original Penguin instructions. The kit has never been started. All parts and paperwork are still in the factory sealed bag. In the late 1930s, before WWII, Frog created the world's first line of injection molded plastic model kits. Since Frog stood for 'Flies Right Off the Ground' and Frog had a famous line of flying models, the world's first all injection molded kits were called Frog Penguin for the bird that does not fly. The Penguin Hart was among the early pre-war releases by Frog.
