2nd issue of this kit with the 'Blue Box' dated 1967. Very highly detailed. The kit has many action features: When you pull the prop outward and rotate it CCW, the landing gear retracts. Pull it outward and rotate it CW, and the gear extends. Push the prop in, and it freewheels as normal. Kit features a movable control surfaces, highly detailed cockpit, full decals, sliding canopy and instructions for rigging. Never started. Inventoried and NOTE: missing one tiny, easy to make part: (1) #6. This is a very small round part with a hole in the middle. Otherwise complete with all other parts, decals and instructions present.

From 1979 and the original Matchbox molds. Markings are included for Finnish LeLv 46 1942, Luftwaffe 1/Kustenfliegergruppe 706 Denmark 1940 and 1/Kustenfliegergruppe 406 Tromso Norway 1942. The last group took part in the attacks on Convoy PQ17 in June/July of 1942 in which 23 of 36 vessels were sunk by air attack and U-boats. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: there is some bug damage to the instructions, but it does not interfere with using them for assembly.

Very well detailed kit from the original Taimei molds. Taimei was the first to use the Aeroskin type process that was widely used by Renwal. Actually, the Renwal molds for the Voisin, Bleriot XI and Antoinette came from Taimei. The original internal frame structure and details of the aircraft is built from injection molded plastic. When complete, it is covered with a very strong fabric which is included. The result is a very realistic aircraft. Never started.
