This is the 1987 issue from the original 1950s molds of this very early (probably prototype) Skyhawk. Features very fine raised panel lines, pilot and ejection seat, opening canopy, detailed jet engine, opening inspection panel, working rudder and ailerons, full landing gear, centerline drop tank, wing rockets and more. With a clear display stand and decals for VA-153. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

This 1982 issue includes Blue Angels decals and is part of Lindberg's 'Past and Present' Series. 1969 two-piece box issue utilizing the original Ray Gaedke artwork from the 1950s issue. This very nicely molded kit features pilot, basic cockpit, good engine detail, rotating propeller and wheels and even rigging photos for spreader bars and wire placements. Never started. The actual airplane is inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions but NOTE: the stand is missing the short length of aluminum wire. Lindberg is a company with a fascinating history The original 'Lindberg Line' stretches back to the 1930s when Paul Lindberg drew plans for famous modeling magazines and marketed his balsa wood 'stick and tissue' by urging dealers to carry the '...Complete Lindberg Line'. From 1973. This is a fine model of this early Benz sports car and Lindberg really went above and beyond in the design of this kit. Features full rolling chassis construction just like the actual automobile, complete front and rear suspension, rear differential and drive line, front and rear shock absorbers, gas tank, full exhuast system, detailed engine & engine compartment, removable hood, full interior, dual rear spares, rubber tires with whitewall inserts and more. Molded in gloss white & gloss red (like the box top), black, chrome plate, clear and rubber. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions. The SSK was developed from the revolutionary Mercedes S (Sport) designed by Dr. Ferdinand Porsche. Making it's debut in 1927, the "S" had a six cylinder 6.8 liter engine and won the inaugural race on Germany's Nurburgring in the Eifel Mountains followed by a string of European victories. Daimler-Benz introduced the Mercedes SS (Super Sport) with featured two carburetors, sleep appearance and a bigger engine. The SSK (K stood for Kurz, meaning 'Short') was introduced in 1919 and was eighteen inches shorter than the SS. In 1929 with Rudolf Caracciola at the wheel, the SSK won the International Tourist Trophy race held in Belfast, Ireland with an average speed of 72.8 mph. In late 1930 Carracciola won the 300 Mile Irish Grand Prix in an SSK with an average speed of 86.3 mph, which broke existing course records despite the intermittent rainfall.

Very large kit of the oversized Luftwaffe transport that was originally designed for Operation Sealion, the invasion of Great Britain. The glider was towed by a He-111Z tug. The glider proved to be a bit dangerous, so the Luftwaffe installed engines on the aircraft; it was much more successful that way. This well detailed model has over 250 parts and features interior detail in the cargo bay, opened or closed bay doors, very good cockpit and more. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.
