Rare. The 1966 dated hardbox in outstanding, investment-grade 'Near Mint' condition; color and gloss are as new, the four corners are solid and original (no repairs), there are no price tags, no tag marks, no fading, cuts, tears or creases and no missing litho. The only flaws include very light marks from tape near the centers of the two long sides (no tape; just marks) and very slight shelf wear. This is one of Aurora's later kits with improved mold quality. It features full hull, detailed flight deck, complete interior hangar deck, opening and closing hangar deck doors, 6 Sea Knight and 6 Sea King helicopters, AA guns and more. Includes a display stand, name plate (with name decal) and full color ship decals with hull & deck markings and flag. Never started. Hard-to-find 1996 issue is unique because it contains all parts to convert the bombardier's compartment into a platform for a large battery of .50 caliber machine guns. Also includes exterior mounted rear-facing camera, crew members and weighted tires. Features decals for 345th Bomb Group (the Air Apaches) aircraft 'Lazy Daisy Mae' of the 501 Squadron and 'Sag Harbor Express' of the 499th Squadron. Excellent detail inside and out. Features full interior detail, optional position bomb bay with bomb load, rotating turrets and elevating guns, optional position crew hatch, and rotating props. Never started. The only injection molded 1/48 B-58 model made to this date. Excellent detail and well molded. Features highly detailed landing gear and wheel wells, full cockpit and unique ejection pod, four nuclear bombs, two pod choices and opened or closed cockpit hatch. Includes for the "Bendix Trophy Winner" that made the record New York to London run. The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed bags. This is the very first release from 1983 with SAC Badges and has very high mold quality as you would expect. Features operating swing wings and stabilator, detailed undercarriage, wheel wells and full cockpit. Includes 17 cruise missiles and a crew of 4. The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the internal factory sealed bags; the parts that were never sealed are inventoried complete. Includes decals and instructions. Please note this is the same molds as later camo issues of the B-1B - it just has earlier decals. NOTE: the decal backing sheet has some brown age spots; but only the backing paper is affected. The actual transfers are fine.

Early issue with 'L' kit number prefix. The C-714 descended from the race planes of the 'Coupe Deutsch del la Meurthe' and became one of the few 'light fighters' to reach series production for WWII. They saw service in WWII in Finland and were flown by Polish pilots of the G.CI 145. Twelve victories and two probables were recorded during it's brief service life. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present.

Early Heller 'Yellow Box' trim issue from the 1960s. Very nicely molded with recessed control surfaces and fine raised panel lines. Features parts and decals to build any of three aircraft listed, optional position wing (up or down), two piece canopy, 'good' cockpit detail, optional position speed brake and detailed well, detailed main gear well, Matra or AIM-9 Sidewinder AAM and more. NOTE: this kit has minor, 'professional' quality subassembly as follows: control stick to cockpit floor; intake ramp and bulkhead to one fuselage half. There is no other assembly. 1967 softbox issue with John Andrews box artwork. This kit is completely chrome plated. The chrome is in amazing 'Near Mint+' condition. You can built it as Razorback or Bubble Top versions and includes decals for Col. Glenn T. Eagleston's P-47D or a Razorback from 1944 Burma (10th or 14th Air Force). Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. The chrome plating has been protected for transport in the mail.
