Airfix HP Halifax B.MK.III - Type 2 Logo Issue, 1/72, 584

Very early 1960s issue with the 2nd style Airfix box. This model features movable control surfaces, elevating guns, rotating turrets, retracting landing gear, rotating propeller & wheels, crew members and more. Molded in black and clear. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Please note that the box has significant wear and age discoloration to the white section as shown. There are is one closed split on the lower left-hand corner.

Airfix Tank Transporter - Scammell - Craftmaster Issue, 1/76, M1-79

1960s Craftmaster release with rather grisly artwork showing Stuka bullets knocking down almost everyone in sight. The kit includes a well detailed truck and trailer. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Airfix Great Western Ocean Liner, 1/180, X882-1800

Still factory sealed but the seal has a few splits on the box top as shown. The Great Western was the first ship specifically built for the Atlantic Ferry Service and was designed by I.K. Brunel (who designed the Great Eastern). When launched in 1837, she carried 120 first class, 20 second class, and beds could be set up for an additional 100 if needed. The crew was 60 men. The first crossing of the Atlantic Ocean was in April of 1838 and took just over 15 days. After crossing the Atlantic 64 times, she ran for 10 years between Southampton and the West Indies before being broken up in 1857. The kit is the large scale Airfix Japan issue; it is well detailed and features full hull, complete deck fittings, ships boats, preformed rat lines, detailed paddle wheels, billowing sails and much more.

Airfix Bristol Bloodhound Missile - Craftmaster Issue Box With A 1992 Kit Inside, 1/76, M7-49

NOTE: the kit inside is from 1992; the box is from the 1960s issue with fantastic art work. The Bloodhound was an early Mach 2 surface to air missile that defended Great Britain. The range was about 60 miles. The Bloodhound was launched with four solid rocket boosters. Once these burned out and fell away, the main ramjet took over and the missile road a radar beam to the illuminated target. This is a detailed and well molded kit for that time and includes one Bloodhound missile, working launcher assembly and transport trailer. NOTE: this kit has some 'excellent' quality subassembly as noted: jeep body shell built; launcher side panels to base; launcher "A" frame built (3 pieces). There is no other assembly. Inventoried complete with all parts and instructions present.

Still factory sealed but the seal has shrunk with age and drawn the box top concave. This is a fine kit of the second of Monty's two Humbers. Features very good underside detail with full suspension, driveline exhaust & gas tank, full interior down to the map pockets, optional deployed or stowed passenger compartment windshield, optional up or down convertible top, Monty and driver figures and more.

1960s type Three logo issue. The amazing Duck first flew in 1934, saw service all through WWII and was not phased out until the mid 1950s. This is a very nicely molded and detailed model that features markings for both aircraft, under-wing bomb load, optional position canopy, interior with crew members, lower cabin for passengers, optional position landing gear and more. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. The box is heavily worn but the decals and instructions are both in 'excellent' condition.
