From 1979 and a very popular kit to this day. Very nicely detailed and molded model with 94 pieces, parts to build Doolittle Tokyo Raider or RAF B-25C versions, detailed cockpit, crew of two, rotating turrets, wheels and propellers and more. The kit has never been assembled but NOTE: there is 'Near Mint' to 'Professional' quality painting to the wheels, propellers, machine guns, struts, ADF antenna and a few other small parts. Dated 1996. The Comanche was a promising stealth design for a light armed scout helicopter. The first prototype was completed in May of 1995. Testing went well and the design was proven to have high stealth characteristics and an incredible payload. Immediately before full scale production, the project was canceled in favor of upgrading the current helicopter force and for UAVs. The model kit features 77 parts with recessed surface detail, excellent dual cockpit, rotating gun turret, main & tail rotors, optional closed or open weapons bay doors with missiles and more. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.
