Nicely detailed model from 1979 that includes parts for all versions - civil Lufthansa South Atlantic Mail Service 1938 and two Luftwaffe aircraft. Includes color painting guide (on the back of the box and decals for all three also. Lufthansa was a pioneer in trans-oceanic mail services and the Do-15 and Do-18 grew to fit this need. Given the German interests in South America, it was no surprise that they established one of the first airmail services between Europe and that continent. This kit will build one of those aircraft, the Lufthansa South Atlantic Mail Aircraft (1938) D-AANE 'Zyklon' or the military version. The Do-18 was an improved D0-15 'Wal' and set several records during its long useful life.

In March 1946, this was one of the last Mustangs to serve in RAF Fighter Command before this squadron converted to Hornets.

Hard-to-find model of the PR9. This variant was a further development of the successful Canberra PR7. The differences were major including an offset canopy, modified wings and more powerful engines. This model includes decals for three RAF machines in camo or natural silver decoration: NO. 39 Sq 1974, No. 13 Sq. RAF Cyprus 1970 and NO. 58 Sq 1963. There is a full color painting guide on the back of the box with three view of each aircraft. There is no assembly but NOTE: this kit has very minor and neat painting: the cockpit parts and several smaller other details are painted. There is no other painting.
