From 1975 and well detailed for that time. Includes multi-view, full color paint guide on the back of the box and decals for both aircraft. The Singapore aircraft took part in Exercise Bersatu Padu. Five nations participated in this multi-service exercise in Singapore and Western Malaya. Lightnings flew standing air patrols, refueled day and night, and successfully intercepted attacking Vulcans and Canberras. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Nicely detailed model from 1979 that includes parts for all versions - civil Lufthansa South Atlantic Mail Service 1938 and two Luftwaffe aircraft. Includes color painting guide (on the back of the box and decals for all three also. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Lufthansa was a pioneer in trans-oceanic mail services and the Do-15 and Do-18 grew to fit this need. Given the German interests in South America, it was no surprise that they established one of the first airmail services between Europe and that continent. This kit will build one of those aircraft, the Lufthansa South Atlantic Mail Aircraft (1938) D-AANE 'Zyklon' or the military version. The Do-18 was an improved D0-15 'Wal' and set several records during its long useful life.
