Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Exc
$149
First issue from 1958. From the stunning artwork on this kit, it is clear to see why these models are considered the pinnacle of box art and so collectible today. This is a finely molded and well detailed kit for that time which features removable canopy, pilot figure, detailed engine, landing gear, retractable landing skid, movable control surfaces & dive brakes and more. Molded in black and clear plastic and includes Revell's famous round-based 'Globe' swivel stand, a separate, full size color and marking sheet with four views and even an excellent history of the aircraft. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. The box displays almost 'near mint' but is graded 'excellent' because there is some minor litho chipping and moderate edge wear, especially on the left side corners.

1960 'S' issue with fantastic box artwork. Revell brought new life to the original F-104 molds by including four then-new AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles, missile ground trailer and ground crew. The box has like-new color and gloss, four solid corners and no tape or price tags or residue; this box even skipped the original factory sealing tape machine! There is light edge wear, a short 3/4 inch crease (not even visible in the photo) and a very small 'ding' on the right short side. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

1958 first issue hardbox featuring some of my favorite 'S' box artwork. Correct, original issue molded in three colors. Not a reproduction. The box is in 'very good+++' condition with great color and gloss. There are no price tags, no tag marks, no litho tear or missing litho, no fading, four solid original corners and no stains. Flaws include even light general wear as shown, a very short and mild crease at the upper left and residue from thin, clear tape on all four sides. Loaded with working features typical of kits at the time. The entire gantry tower folds back and moves on railroad base, the elevator moves to the four different work platforms and the Explorer Satellite can be removed from the Jupiter rocket. Includes crew of 7. Inside, the kit has never been started. Parts are molded in red, medium gray and white. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and completely flat 'very good++' condition decals and 'very good' instructions with typical yellowing and some edge wear, the heaviest at the bottom.

Hard-to-find 1995 issue of the US Navy's first Stealth Test Ship. Built between 1983 and 1985, the Sea Shadow was just over 49 meters long and could achieve 15 knots with a diesel-electric power plant. For years the Navy tested the Sea Shadow off the California coast but only at night. Testing centered around stealth characteristics, steering, automation and sea worthiness. The ship was not revealed to the public until April 11, 1993. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

First issue from 1958 with classic and very collectible 'S' issue artwork. Little John was a light-weight free-flight rocket that was highly mobile. It could be pulled on it's launcher or transported by helicopter. The length was 12 feet long and the warhead was atomic. The Dart was a very early wire guided anti-tank missile with a solid propellant rocket motor. It was five feet long and used an optical range finder was used for guidance. These models are well detailed. The Dart includes four missiles, one launcher, three stands, decals, one optical guidance unit and a crew of three. The Little John includes a detailed launcher with elevating rails, movable support legs, decals and crew of three. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Rare First issue dated 1958 with classic box art. This model has movable vertical fin and dive brakes, removable rocket engine, hinged landing skids and removable canopy. Molded in gloss black, clear and with the famous Revell Swivel 'Globe' stand. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Decals and instructions are in 'excellent++' condition with light yellowing as the only flaw. NOTE: the box displays much better than the 'Excellent++' rating. It is rated that because the left side short panel is only 'good++' with scuffing and edge wear.

First issue dated 1957 with the stunning box art that has made these models so desirable today. This is also a well detailed model that features fine recessed and raised panel lines, crew of three, three opening cockpit hatches, rotating wheels, 'The Pod' for weapons and fuel, correctly detailed gear struts & braces and more. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals & instructions. Rare 1955 Revell model with the great box artwork that has made these kits so famous and collectible. This large-scale model features excellent detail for that time and almost all items shown in the box art - railings, grates, name boards, navigation lights, vents, whistles, bumpers, bitts and even two crew members. NOTE: this kit has minor, 'professional' quality subassembly as follows: cover to lifeboat; rudder & small mount (for the propeller) to the hull; lower superstructure (5 pieces, four walls and roof). There is no other assembly. Inventoried 100% complete and includes decals and instructions. The box rates only 'very good' because it has isolated and light age spotting as shown. The Long Beach was built in Decatur, Alabama in 1943 and was one of a fleet of tugs operated by the Wilmington Transportation Company. She had a registered length of 81.1 feet and a beam of 24 feet. Gross tonnage was 146 inches and she drew 8 feet of water. Powered by a 700 hp diesel, the range was just over 3,500 miles.

Rare. Lodela first and only issue with the combination of Argentine markings, Bullpup missiles, two missile carts and tow bars, pilot and three ground crew. This kit uses modified 1956 molds from H232-89, the original S Skyhawk issue. Revell added two Bullpup Missiles, two missile trailers with towbars, four figures, three figure bases, weapons pylons and more. Includes decals for Argentine Air Force or Navy versions. Molded in white and clear. Never started and the parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The box sides display better than the 'good++' grade, but it is rated as such because there is a narrow strip of clear tape on the right ends

Rare original hardbox issue from 1958; not the common 1995 softbox reissue. Aurora had set the bar high for early armor kits; Revell had to better that and they did. This model features fine surface detail, flexible working treads, rotating turret, elevating gun, optional position hatches, four troops and more. Molded in the correct gloss deep green and with silver flexible tracks. Never started. All parts, decals and instructions have been inventoried 100% complete and are correct for this early issue. The box top has factory-new color and gloss, four solid corners and no repairs. The flaws are corner wear on the left as shown, a very light price tag pull on the left short side and a 3/4" x 3/4" factory tape pull on the long lower side. The original store neatly marked out the '129' price extension on both short side panels and wrote a very small '70' cents next to it.
