This kit is from Airfix molds and is one of the MPC '3 Big Bonus' features series. Dates from the late 1960s/early 1970s. The model features customizing parts (such as chrome plated bombs, missiles, prop, exhaust, air scoops, antenna and guns), stock and customizing decals and the clear modular display stand. Note that this issue still has 'Craft Master' under the MPC logo. Before this, MPC was marketing Airfix kits under the Craftmaster name in the USA. This large scale model features full hull, propeller and rudder detail, complete deck fittings, full armament including torpedoes & twin 20mm cannon, five crew members and more. The Vosper was the smallest and fastest of the Royal Navy craft used in World War II. They used their speed, low draft and the cover of darkness in attack. While torpedo assault was their primary mission, they also were employed as mine layers and transports for landing spies and commandos on enemy shores.

Rare first issue from 1966. NOTE: this kit has been neatly built & painted and makes an ideal (and fairly simple) restoration project. The body paint is 'excellent' and the assembly is certainly done by a talented adult and grades 'excellent' (not perfect, but way above average). Decal application is very neat as well. Interestingly enough, it appears that all of the stock & other version parts are included. I did not inventory them but they are certain from this kit and extensive. Includes the original instructions.

Ab Jenkins set a record with a stock issue 851 at Bonneville Salt Flats in July of 1935, and became the first one to pilot a stock car for over 12 hours at an average of over 100 mph.

First issue hardbox of this incredible Monogram model from 1965. This kit retailed for $3 that year, which was a small fortune for a 1/24 car kit; however it was well worth it. It builds into a simply stunning model even without any painting and was very popular until discontinued in the 1970s. Very highly detailed and well molded featuring a rolling chassis build just like the full-size car, detailed engine and engine compartment, opening hood, full suspension, exhaust, driveline and steering linkage, full interior, opening doors, opening rumble seat and rumble seat door, optional position convertible top and more. Dated 1978 and from highly detailed Aurora molds. When Monogram purchased the Aurora molds, they only reissued the few kits that met their quality standards; this was one of them. Aurora really pulled out all of the stops on this model and it features the famous 3.5L straight 6 engine, full engine compartment, opening hood, detailed front and rear suspension, driveline and exhaust, excellent interior, opening doors, opening trunk and more. It is molded in multiple colors, just like the Aurora kit: the body parts are a deep gloss burgundy and the other parts in tan, chrome plate and clear. The clear parts are 'near mint' and the chrome is also. The kit has never been started. It is exactly as it left the factory. The maroon parts are still in the factory sealed bag; the other parts were never factory sealed and have been inventoried complete. Includes instructions. Please note that this kit never came with decals.
