Includes the Airmodel #144 Meteor F8 Conversion with white and clear parts. Complete and never used although some parts are very neatly and correctly cut from the vac sheet. Also includes a clear vacuformed nose from an unknown manufacture which I believe to be a Meteor recon FR.9 conversion. Never used and in mint condition & not yellowed. The actual kit is the Red Series issue with pleasant box art scene of "meatboxes" of Esk. 343, Koninklijke Luchtmacht serenely cruising high above an estuary, possibly the Scheldt. Well detailed and molded. Includes decals for both kits. This kit has not been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Still factory sealed and a very unusual kit. As the box top says, "Eggplane Models are a unique way of modifying aircraft that gives them a roundish, almost deformed shape, but still retain(s) their identifiable characteristics or traits in an entertaining way." Hasegawa issued a series of these famous 'Egg Planes' in the 1980s forward.

1963 hardbox issue in 'excellent' condition. This big scale kit features fine recessed panel lines, clear cockpit windows and spotlight lens, retractable MAD boom and sonar dome, rotating propellers and under-wing rocket load-out. Hardbox release dated 1960. This is the harder-to-find issue because it has desirable 'Famous Fighters' in the logo border. The one without 'Famous Fighters' is much more common. This was a nice kit for the time featuring 'good' cockpit detail, pilot and student figures, rotating prop and USAF decals. Molded in silver and clear. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Please note that the box is only ranked 'good' because there is light brown age spotting on the box top; you can see it best against the yellow areas.

First issue from 1956 with the one-year-only 'Northern Lights' rectangular logo. The artwork is by Jim Cox. This is a very nice model for that time that includes a pilot, ground display with chocks and a ground crew member as well. Molded in the correct gloss olive drab and black plastic. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts decals and instructions. This kit is one of a very successful line of 1/48 WWI aircraft that Aurora launched in 1956. The line sold so well that new kits were added into the 1960s. Molded in the correct gloss olive drab green and black. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Thanks to Eugene DuBey, we know some history on the aircraft that Aurora modeled. The tail # on the kit rudder is 1354, the number of a Nie 16 that served with "CAM de Dunquerke / St Pol sur Mer", 1916-17.
Resin Model Kit, Box Condition: Exc

Rare hardbox issue from the mid 1960s. Very large and highly detailed model measures over 21 inches long when assembled. The Natchez was the famous rival of the Robert E Lee. The race between the two is considered a classic tale of The River. Although the Lee won, the circumstances were suspect and many people still considered the Natchez the fastest paddle-wheel packet ever. (For example, the Lee carried no payload and the Natchez was carrying passengers and a normal payload.) Molded in high-gloss tan, burgundy, green and gray plastic. All details of the real ship, including the wooden railings and carvings are duplicated. Includes full rigging instructions and thread. Never started. All the parts that were originally factory sealed are still in the factory sealed bags; the few parts that Pyro did not seal (paddles, hull and large deck parts) have been inventoried complete. With instructions, decals and flag sheet. Please note that while the box has heavy moisture/water damage, the decals, flag sheet and instructions (as well as all plastic parts) escaped damage and are 'excellent.'

Early hardbox issue with fantastic box artwork. Small scale ship kit about 5.5 inches long when assembled. Nicely molded. Includes full hull, molded wood plank and wood grain detail, many separately molded deck details including cannon, masts, billow sails and display stand. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions.

Small scale ship kit from the Table Top Navy series. Very nicely done kits for their time. Can be built full hull or waterline. Features propeller and shaft detail, separately molded turrets, stacks, many superstructure parts and more. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and instructions. Many of the Pyro kits came from Eagle (then Eaglewall) molds in England. Eaglewall went out of business around 1962 and Pyro acquired at least some of the molds. Pyro reissued some of these kits in the mid 1960s with AJ Rudisill artwork. Evidently the line was successful, as Pyro then cut some of their own molds and expanded the series significantly. The earlier issues have the full color artwork and a three digit part number. Later issues have a 'B' or 'C' in front of the three digit kit number; some have simplified box art that is a modification of the original Rudisill paintings by painting out most of the background. Pyro issued these kits into the late 1960 when Life-Like took over the molds. Some were reissued by Life-Like.
