$42

This limited edition model features main parts beautifully molded in high definition resin, very fine recessed panel lines, very good cockpit, printed instruments and more. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: the instructions show a fret of brass PE parts; however, all of the larger parts on the fret have been replaced with resin parts. So I believe that the fret and it's smaller details were eliminated by the manufacturer. You can always use a Typhoon for any other details as the only primary difference is the fuselage.

KP Letov S-328 Floatplane - (S.328), 1/72

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good-

$14

Very attractive 1930s float plane. Contains markings for Czech Air Force. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. And thank you to Ales Pakosta for the following information- The actual use of the S-328 floatplane was quite unique. It was used as a training target tug plane during the Czechoslovak Anti-Aircraft Artillery maneuvers in contemporary Yugoslavia, in the Boka Kotorska (Bay of Kotor, now in Montenegro). In fact, it was not for naval artillery training but was done in this way so that shells fired from shore fell into the sea to prevent damage on the land. As there was no appropriate airfield nearby, the target tug aircraft had to operate from the sea surface. As a result, about three aircraft were modified for this task from land-based light bomber-scout biplane. They replaced the classic fixed undercarriage with a pair of floats purchased from the British Short company. The seaplanes remained in use for a several years in this special role. The land-based versions of the S-328 (which can be built from the kit as well) were very popular in the Czechoslovak Air force in the mid thirties; many were seized by Luftwaffe in 1939. The last known combat use of these machines came in 1944 during the Slovakian National Uprising, when their pilots had to fight such planes as Messerschmidt Bf109G.

Life-Like Roman Chariot - (ex- Miniature Masterpiece / Revell / Adams), 1/48, 09673

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Sealed NM

$40

Still factory sealed and from the original 1950s high-quality molds. This kit has an interesting history. 'Miniature Masterpieces' was formed through an alliance of Lew Glaser (Revell) and Steve Adams (Adams Action Models) in 1953. Although the molds were made at Adams and it had the appearance of an independent company, the firm was run by Revell down to the prototypes being made at the Revell plant. Originally there was no evidence of the parent company on the surface. The State Coach of England was the first kit, issued in 1953. More kits of excellent quality followed. Revell completely took over the line in 1954 and in that year and the next, kits were labeled 'Revell' with a 'Miniature Masterpiece' label on the box top also. However, Adams broke the relationship with Revell in the later 1950s and began making kits under the Adams name in 1958 with the original molds. When Adams decided to leave the plastic business, they sold the molds to the famous HO Craftsman Train manufacturer Athearn, who released the armor under the name 'SNAP.' UPC then reissued the Miniature Masterpiece kits, probably with an agreement with Athearn (because Athearn never reissued them). However, Life-Like acquired the ex-Adams molds from Athearn in the early to mid 1970s and did reissue most if not all of this line. This issue is from about 1976 and lists the former 'MM' kits Chuck Wagon, Western Figures, Wells Fargo Stage coach as well as numerous Pyro and Palmer kits as being currently available.

Pavla Arado Ar-231 V1 U-Boat Float Plane, 1/72, 72014

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good

$27

Limited production kit. Contains photoetched details. The small Ar-231 was designed as a scout/recon aircraft to be carried on U-Boats in a water-tight hangar. Six prototypes were built and extensively tested. The aircraft proved to be a handful even in calm weather, and design restrictions made the Ar-231 small and underpowered. . Would look great with a modified Revell 1/72 U-Boat kit. Never started and the parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

Jo-Han 1963 Oldsmobile Starfire Hardtop - Stock / Custom / Drag or Track, 1/25, 2163-139

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Fair

This model features parts to build any one of the three versions listed, full interior, opening hood, detailed engine, engine compartment with firewall, battery, radiator and washer jar and molded underside detail. Molded in gloss light tan, chrome plate, clear, red tinted clear and with rubber white sidewall tires, metal axles and metal body screws. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried with all car parts 100% complete and photocopied instructions. NOTE: missing decals and the original instructions. These photocopied instructions are from a photo and not the originals. The source photos were only 'fair', which means that you can inventory and assemble the kit with them but they are not good for anything else. The box displays only 'fair' because of bug damage to the lithograph.
