Still factory sealed. Nicely detailed with very fine recessed panel lines, good cockpit and more. Flagon M was a modification of a standard Su-15 with R13-300 engines and the new 'Typhoon M' radar. Wings and landing gear were also changed. The tests took place in 1969 and were very successful; the type became one of the main fighter-interceptors in the 1970s/80s.

1970s large-scale issue for rubber or gas free flight, or easily converted to RC using today's tiny and light servos and receivers. Kit features traditional wood/tissue construction, large insignia sheet, detailed full size plans that include text building instructions and additional construction drawings, fully formed & finished main and tail wheels & thrust button, hardware, tissue, clear canopy material and pattern, propeller, rubber motor and more. The model has not been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. Comet was a famous manufacturer of stick and tissue flying and static models. In the 1930s Great Depression, they lead the low-priced kit revolution with the "Dime Scale" kits and famous advertisements in Model Airplane News magazine and others. Comet reached it's peak in the 1930s when they acquired the services of Carl Goldberg. Goldberg was a highly accomplished modeler with articles in Model Airplane News and famous designs that won him several National level competitions in the 1930s and beyond. (Carl Goldberg went on to found his own company and produced well designed and popular free-flight and RC aircraft). Comet survived the post World War economic slump and continued kit production until they were bought out by long-time competitor Guillow's in 1998.

Very Rare. This is a highly prefabricated sailplane model that includes a Plura plastic fuselage with all necessary holes for the horizontal fin precision factory made, profiled tailplane panels, slotted for pivot tubes, profiled all-balsa rudder, all balsa wings of 'Jedelsky' construction with all parts accurately profiled and die-cut (no covering material need), all wing joiner parts and brass joiner tubes, extensive R/C hardware packet, lightweight vacuform canopy and much more. Includes color decals (factory mounted to the underside of the box top with red 'Robbe' tape, extensive full-size plans and a large instruction book in four languages including English. Never started. Inside, the kit is exactly as it left the factory. Robbe sealed every small part in clear bags; and put the larger parts in open clear bags. The only parts not in factory bags are some of the larger balsa and lite-ply diecut sheets and the wooden strip stock (which is still sealed together with Robbe red tape). Includes all paperwork.

1958 'S' issue with incredible box art in 'near mint-' condition. Color and gloss are like new. All four corners are solid and there are no repairs, no price tags, fading or even wrinkles & creases. The only flaws are very light and isolated shelf wear and a 1/2" closed tear on the upper left side (at the factory sealing tape). This model is well detailed and molded for that time and features incredibly fine all-recessed panel lines and rivets, moving wing flaps, ailerons, elevators and rudder, detailed landing gear, optional opened or closed speed brakes with well detail, a full crew as well as a guard figure. Molded in the correct gloss silver and clear. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions, which are both in 'excellent' condition.

Very rare kit from 1941 that measures 18.5 inches long when assembled. This well designed model even includes partial hanger deck sections where they are most visible from the port and starboard sides; even the rear elevator has a well, so it can be displayed up or down. Issued shortly before the war, the model was not reissued after the war since the Wasp was lost off Guadalcanal by what is likely the most successful submarine torpedo salvo in the history of warfare. Includes completely pre-molded and shaped wood-material hull in excellent, solid and straight condition, 5 sheets of cleanly done printwood (two are bristol board as thick as balsa but stronger), fully formed funnel, wood stock in many shapes and sizes, a fittings packet with four propellers & two anchors and two factory sealed packs of Casco Glue. Features excellent full size plans and instructions. The plans show numerous detail view of the ships substructure and a detailed view of the hanger deck, flight deck with pre-war markings and island. Never started. Hard-to-find model of the PR9. This variant was a further development of the successful Canberra PR7. The differences were major including an offset canopy, modified wings and more powerful engines. This model includes decals for three RAF machines in camo or natural silver decoration: NO. 39 Sq 1974, No. 13 Sq. RAF Cyprus 1970 and NO. 58 Sq 1963. There is a full color painting guide on the back of the box with three view of each aircraft. There is no assembly but NOTE: this kit has very minor and neat painting: the cockpit parts and several smaller other details are painted. There is no other painting. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

From the early to mid 1950s. Rare very early Lindberg issue with the first Lindberg logo - 'Lindberg' in the center of a circle made by the words 'Products' and 'Incorporated'. Lindberg never wasted materials like left over instructions, plastic parts, boxes or decals - and the P-80 kit is a primary example of this practice. This kit is one of the earliest within the first Lindberg issue. There are three sets of known instructions with this kit; one with no pilot and no seat; one with a pilot and 'plank' for a seat and another with the pilot and proper seat. But large numbers of these kits have surfaced with these instructions, a pilot but no seat - not even the 'plank'. Correctly molded in early high-gloss silver, all recessed panel lines and no rivet detail. The kit has never been started. Inventoried and NOTE: no surprise, it's missing the seat like about 40% of them that I have seen. Otherwise complete including decals and instructions. Paul Lindberg got his start in 1930s model aviation by designing, building and flying stick and tissue aircraft. His plans appeared in Popular Aviation magazine and he soon made a name for himself. When injection molding showed the way to increased kit sales in the late 1940s/early 1950s, he quickly teamed up with Mr. Olsen to create 'O-lin' models. Ray Gaedke was one the the early artists for O-lin, and he help pioneer dramatic and colorful box artwork. In the early 1950s Paul Lindberg was running the company and had the logo changed to his name. The first logo was circular, with 'Lindberg' in middle and 'Products' 'Incorporated' arched across the top and bottom. The second logo is the 'Yellow Square' that is on this kit. Ray Gadke continued his bold and colorful artwork for Lindberg and did this F-80C boxart as well.
