Includes Carrol County Times and The Washington Post full newspapers from Wednesday, January 29, 1986 with first-day-after articles on the Challenger Disaster. Both newspapers are in 'very good' or better condition. This is a very well engineered and detailed static kit the features opening cargo bay doors, space radiators, moving elevons (wing flaps)& rudder/speedbrake, body flap & manipulator arm, cargo bay interior lining, scale models of the Skylab Module and Instrument Pallet and more. Construction is by the traditional stick-and-tissue method with printed, die-cut balsa parts, factory cut strip stock, covering material, scale wheels, four color decal sheet, step-by-step assembly instruction brochure, numerous vacuformed plastic detail parts, white Solarfilm covering and much more. here are decals for Columbia, Challenger, Discovery, Atlantis and Enterprise. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and all paperwork.
